^ 😆 ehh, during the video Lol Chris mentions Gavin Rosdale as a big influence and for some unknown reason they show Gavin but put Alice In Chains' , "Would?" music on for that..lol. 🤦🏻♂️ okay 🤷🏻♂️
Wrong. Shai Hulud is EXACTLY the kind of screaming most people think of. Most people don’t think of black metal or death metal…that’s just metal elitists. Like it or not screaming is most commonly associated with punk/hardcore/metalcore rather than conventional “metal”.
I'm so glad my dad was the one that got me into metal. He doesn't like the newer stuff with lots of screams but he will jam to it with me but not go out of his way to listen in his own
LOL the screecher
does anyone know where i can find any “new car smell” songs?
Hopefully we get Sam Carter in the future. That dude's technique just baffles me.
id definitely say hes MASTERED the grit
Thanks Chris! Love you! Just get super frustrated with all these how to scream vids where you don't actually LEARN HOW?
Chris' voice is always touching my soul
I remember Chester, he blew his chords out, for sure!!!
My absolute favourite band in the world. Listening to Disguise and Scoring the end of the world daily. Surprised to see TimeBomb not on the new album though.
I love how over pronounced his lyric style is and makes it so accessible to fans regardless of what metal style you like.
Cool. I've been a KoRn fan for a long ass time, and I love M.I.W. I totally need to see them in concert
i'm happy to know im not the only one! Thank you for sharing your experience Chris & congratulations on your amazing album!
Who was his favorite screamer? I can’t understand the last name
What a cool interview. Great job. 🤘🏻
Eta damn this was so relatable and I don't even scream haha. Love all his inspo bands.
It's always a bit weird when you realize that people who are already awesome still look up to others. That sounds idiotic, but it's all I got lmao.
Ima go scream german obscenities at my vape now. Damn bitch... 😂
i'm actually trying to learn how to scream and i LOVE chris' vocals so this helps a ton !!
Chris talks like a very down to earth person. He gets to know his fanbase and does the Shorts where fans do part of Masterpiece. That is so wonderful. Maybe their next album or a song titled, Down-to-Earth. Keep the flow MIW.
He is so talented!! Love Motionless in White!!!
jesus. parents calling it screamo was such a millenial teen problem... every fucking band with a scream. to a parent who doesnt know metal. is a screamo band. GOD MY FRIENDS MOMS IT WAS SO ANNOYING!
Fortunately my mom likes slipknot so she always knew
I'm a singer. I've tried screaming and I thought I hurt my vocal cords. I was so scared. My throat stopped hurting after a day or two and I haven't tried it since. I'd love to learn again but I'd want a professional to help me so I don't fucking kill myself. Lol
I'd love to help if you're interested! :D
