you know how they have someone like sitting up there to make sure you're ok and stuff? every time me and my cousin would like try to make them laugh. because if their entire day they just sit up there it must get kind of boring. so we will like splash them or yell random things at them. anything really. so much fun
yeah the last time I went we loaded up the log to see how big of a splash we would get and we got stuck in the station it was to funny lol.... they had to push it out the station we had so much weight in the log we got hung up on the things that hold the boat so you can get in CLASSIC STUFF....
I cut my hand at Lake Compounce, cut my middle and ring finger and sliced 3 tendons 1 in my ring and both in my middle... I was going down the Lazy River thing or the thing thats connected to it... I was going in a bank turn and I was maybe a inch or so away from the edge so I Grabbed the pipe I was going down and sliced my fingers:(
I love lake compounce but the one thing about this ride is that when I went on it the lady made me keep my pocketbook in the bin and I came back and it wasn't there later on that day I found it with my money (23 dollars) and ipod missing all that was left was my season pass and my old flip phone
haha i went on this ride like 10 times in a row once when there was like no line lmao the ride goes so slow and boring in teh beginning it like makes you nervous for whats gonna happen next and then the drop comes and its awesome lol
Lake Compounce is actually the safest amusement park in New England, it looks blown up but it's not. I love this ride! I went on it with my friends and i closed my eyes. The drop scared the hell outta me lol
someone tell me if a rollercoaster across the lake would be awesome?i have a cool idea its like a launch coaster or somethin write to me if u only think its a good idea

+jordan roy (I know a year later) How could it possibly fly off the track? It doesn't go fast enough at the top for it to fly off it. as it was dropping it could potentially tip you over, but that is merely impossible as the weight of all the people in it would make it hard to flip.

i went to lake compounce for the first time when i was 5 or so. with our pre-school. it was pretty fun, but i didn't get to go on a lot of rides.
pure fun, its not that fast but when u hit the big waves, woww u get soaked..funt o go on with friends

The only part that seems to be actually enjoyable & interesting about this ride is the steep drop .
Other than that, it sucks .
I wouldnt go that far thats one of the best rapids ride in the NE you get soaked, but you do get a good dose on this one.

Not too many good performance log flumes anymore. Rocky Point used to have a good one, AND you actually got soaked.

Lake Compounce and most of the Kennywood Properties have been sold to a major theme park Corp. not Six Flags...

Def a nice one, I like the Desparodo Plunge at The Great Escape in NY but this one has a better drop on it.

I was convinced to go on this ride by my teachers and friends and at the end i was shaking...
Youre talking about thunder rapids, the greet raft type ride all the way at the end of the park where the train lets out.

i waited 30 minutes on line for a minute ride! the only fun part was going down the hill thing.
my favorite ride, i mean whats better than getting soaking wet on a 90 degree day? well, maybe my second favorite after boulder dash
yea it was fun but tottaly not worth an hour wait. boulder dash had twice the size of this line but we got on in ten minnutes

i went on this the other day
park was crowded like usual and it was a hot day but the line was short and we were on in minutes
i went there in bristol connecicut .. It had the best view ever and i went on it 6 times in a row cuz i =t was fun
