I read somewhere Rob said he wouldn’t even be making music anymore if not for John. John’s playing inspired him to continue making new music. John 5 is amazing.

I was listening to him in 1989. He got his start about 4 towns away from me (I live in Massachusetts). White Zombie, was and still is, the best iteration of this man's music. I wish Sherri Moon hadn't banished Sean and forced the breakup of the band :'(

This is nothing close to the WhiteZombie era music. La Sexorcisto was a Masterpiece album. The writing was top notch and the bass and guitar heavier than anything Rob has done since. This sounds like more garbage filler for a mediocre album. I honestly thought he was getting back to the sound we all loved with White Zombie, to me this is not even by the same artist.It sounds like a completely different person.I don't know what changed but it's like he forgot how to write songs. Maybe he needs to bring Sean Yseult back, because whatever is influencing this music needs to be burned and destroyed. So sorely disappointed by this. Sad that this is the best a legend like Rob Zombie can put out. It's like one of his bad Movies and there are a few of those. Rob has not put out a decent record since Hillbilly and even that didn't come close to White Zombie.. Guess I'll just have to keep listening to the same old stuff because obviously he is never going to return to his glory days. This is the biggest musical letdown Ive ever heard. Will not be buying this album..or even listening to it for free. Sorry Rob, but you could have at least tried

Could have just kept Riggs, his guitar playing and songwriting style played a big part in those great Zombie Cd's, this song has that style which is great!
Riggs was an amazing guitarist loved his work with zombie but were in more than capable hands with john 5 that man is a guitar machine and he just makes playing guitar look like a cakewalk it's insane how good the man is

I do agree with what you said about Rob, he definitely sounds better when he's heavier, but I'll applaud any artist who has the guts to try new things. When someone makes the same album over and over it grows boring and stale. And while some artists try new things and they don't work, at least they tried.

@@dynamo4543 when I say fire I mean passion, not necessarily anger. Even his album The High End of Low was more passionate. Look at the most recent Judas Priest album Firepower. It may not had really brought anything new to the table musically but it was an album made with passion. Those guys are much older than Manson but they still have the fire.

I think Rob really benefits from having a consistent backing band with John 5 and Ginger Fish and Piggy. They are have been with him for a few albums now and really developed a chemistry. When Rob give them creative flexibility this is what you get.
This song makes me think of Hot Topic (in the old days when they still had their red store logo and sold mostly goth, punk, and other alternative clothing/accessories) when you first walk in, and this is what used to play on their radios constantly in the store.
