The black ring is called a "hub centric" ring. The wheel itself is a 6x139.7 pattern that will work with other vehicle models. The ring itself helps eliminate any wheel vibration, especially at higher speeds.
Actually the fact that there is a plastic ring for the hub means that the wheels are NOT hub centric. ie. they are cheap wheels. He even said the wheels were cheaper than the ugly factory wheels. HRE wheels for example are made to fit the specific model perfectly. No need for whats basically an adapter. You get what you pay for.
You should tag this post with 285/40r24 and 305/35r24. This is literally the review I’ve been looking for and I subscribe to the channel. I’m going with vossen hf6-5s and the Toyo 285/40r24s
By far the best looking Escalade I’ve seen! Couple of changes I’ve noticed on Cadillacs website…… Cadillacs website no longer gives the option to purchase the monochromatic emblem without upgrading the wheels. The Brandy interior is only available with bucket seats in the middle row. Do dealers have the ability to order differently than what the general public can build on Cadillacs website?
Thanks man. I am really happy with it. We have to order the monochromatics separately and install, brandy interior is getting rarer by the week it seems, we have a couple of things we can change above and beyond the website one but for the most part they are the same.
Your Escalade looks tight! Just recently swamped out my 2021 Escalade Sport stock rims and got winter tires with black rims. Not a big fan in upgrading to "24 rim just kept it with the "22 black rim with the Cadillac center caps.
I live in Utah and have the stock 22 wheels and tires. They have worked great in the snow. How would the 285 40 r24 Toyos do in snow compared to the stock all season setup?
Like the looks of your wheels, not a fan of going bigger wheel and less sidewall on tires for reason you spoke of, and in my opinion ride quality suffers a little with less side wall. Beautiful SUV for sure. Keep up the good work.
how does the ride of the 24" Toyo Proxies compare to the OEM 22" rims with the Bridgetones? I have an ESV V and the "V" metallic alloy 22"s but want to go with 24"s. How much of a sacrifice on ride will I have to make? Thanks!!
Wondering after some time has gone by… still have/love the 285/40/24 proxies??? Also heard you mention 21/20 setup on the vette… also have a vette. You happy with the size choice there. I was thinking about going bigger on that car too.
With the larger diameter rim, did you notice any difference in your shifting points? Sometimes larger rims can delay shifting at full throttle. It did with my 2019 Suburban.
Nice Rides Morgan ! do you have the part number for the those wheels. I have the same color Escalade and trying to find rims online and without looking at things in person is hard. I want the same look as yours as I don’t want all black like the Onyx package
@@Cars_and_Crosbie can you get a hook up for them I know there 650$ for one at 20" cheaper then car ones for 700$ I live 50 minutes away form Miami what do you think
We can hate all we want but I’m not going to act like this is not the best Luxury SUV ever. The fact is, nothing compares to level of practicality, technology, space, luxury and safety like this New Escalade offers. It basically has everything Rolls-Royce, Range Rover Mercedes GLS Maybach have and more. It is the only SUV that can really come close to driving itself.
Surprisingly not because mag ride is always working to improve it, you have a slightly smaller sidewall and that makes deeper pot holes less forgiving. That’s your biggest side effect

Oh that’s really interesting thank you for sharing that

Did you get yours yet? I’m still waiting on my wheels to clear customs.
@@honboy1hon805 no my wheel guy said end of April.
A C8 Corvette & Escalade!!! Best of the best! Love them both! Enjoy your rides Morgan!
Thanks buddy
I went with the vossen HF8 hybrid Forged rims 24inch with 285/40/24
Love them
Those wheels look awesome!
Post your link to buy wheels. The one in the description won't work
Those rims look great!
275/50r24 with a slight lift in the front .

Thank you very much Hubert
Yes more videos on my dream car
One day, De’Shawn
Ye one day but it is going electric 2023 and I don't want an electric escalade in Barbados
The video was good I think you said get 24 from factory
Have you ever built a middle piece with the logo of the car fitted for rims?

Yeah it’s a sacrifice I need to be aware of when I am driving so I don’t cause any damage

Yeah they are great. Very excited to try the Michelin tire that is coming out however
@@Cars_and_Crosbie what are they making… I didn’t know they had anything in a 24… or you mean for the vette?
And thanks for the video!!!
Could this pair fit a Cadillac centerpiece?
Really nice !!! 👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾😊
How wide are these wheels? 9.5?10?

Oh great question. With it being a 10 speed I did not notice that. I will be sure to keep that in mind when I put them back on in the spring

Recently purchased a 2010 Caddy so...
Do you run these in the winter up there in Canada? or do you swap back to the factory.
nevermind, i just got to the end and heard you swap them out.
Thanks for this one. This vehicle needed this upgrade.
Yeah I concur Dr.
When u turn all way to side, does it touch any thing?
any idea when the escalade EV is coming out?
3 years
When you go 85 mph do you feel anything vibration on the wheels
None at all

Hey my car shake a little bit when go 80 mph why I roadfost balance the
And all maybe you know something better
Do they rub when you turn???
Nope!
the wheels look decent, but uhhhhh... isn't that going to make it a very stiff ride? 24 inches??
Surprisingly not because mag ride is always working to improve it, you have a slightly smaller sidewall and that makes deeper pot holes less forgiving. That’s your biggest side effect
i went with a c8 instead
