The screen is bloody red on P12 Pro, but you can correct it with color palette
You can find a deal on P11 Pro for around $300 (4/128), but when you consider the spec, especially 120Hz rate (important for writing), and if you want a pen (P11 Pro works 100% including writing Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus), P12 Pro isn't much expensive; however, you may want to check out any possible deal to get it around $550

You must have the older P11 Pro, the 2021 version has the 870, the same in the P12.
I might get the P12 over the P11 2021 for the clearer screen and pen, just depends if I want spend extra money. The lack of a 3.5 jack on higher spec tabs is a turn off tho, no real reason to ditch it.
Yes I have the first one available. The 870 version was never released in the united states that I know of.

Having owned both I'd say if you can stretch to it go for the P12 the screen and speakers are considerably better.
The 870 version ain't p11 pro it's called xiaoxin and only made for China
@@mardon85 may I ask would I notice any difference in usage going from the Xiaoxin 870 processor down to the Lenovo 730G processor? If so how and where would I notice a difference?
@@elsizzle2000 I guess it depends what you do. I use SVP player which is very CPU intensive for interpolation of frames up yo 48fps. On 4k footage it really stresses the CPU.
Other than that, I'd probably not notice for general media consumption.

Have you got eye care turned on on the P12 pro? Mine only looks that pronounced when I ether have the colour set to warm or eyecare turned on?

I have the p12 pro. china version. 8+256. 6+128 is not enough for this type of tablet. I use it for my biz. and development on WordPress. of course it's not perfect! zui13 is much inferior to Samsung Dex. pen tip is hard. feels like writing on glass. price is much cheaper and battery is a lot bigger. thus battery life is much better than S7+. screen brightness is 600+nits .. again I prefer 600nits. S7+ doesn't have finger print scanner to me it's a must . pen latency is low.. I'll upgrade to s8+ when it comes out next month! of course it'll cost a lot more than the p12 pro. I have to find money for it. DEX is ae lot more useful than zui13.

Just a heads up, i bought the p11pro this week and im returning it. It's impossible to watch videos/shows/movies with less than 50% luminosity. There is no nuance in the black resulting in horrible black spot. Really Hope the p12 pro is not the same
What do you mean by no nuance?
@@Marie-et6lw it's hard to explain but lets just say there is no "dark grey", you can clearly see pixels going from grey to fully black. If you take 0-255 0 being full black and 255 being full white then it's like the screen is being clamped from 25 to 255 and value under 25 = 0. I dont know if im being clearer or not 😅
@@ThPasquet I think you may be talking about "black crush" where when it is supposed to be levels of grey it just goes deep black instead? Correct or no? on the p12 pro I was having issue where black in hdr looks kinda grey instead or when bright mode is enabled but in most content the blacks look nice to me
@@Marie-et6lw Yes it is exactly that ! again the screen looked fine around 50% luminosity but i cant watch at these luminosity level when its pitch black around me especially for my wife sleeping next to me and also my eyes. Oh and the grey where very noisy like VERY noisy. You're not the first one to say that the p12 pro doesnt have those issue so thanks for the feedback, i'll wait for the s8+ review/comparaison before making a move.
@@ThPasquet The s8+ may be the better choice anyways. Samsung has better software and support.

Actually, P11+ blows both A7 and A8 out of space while P11+ screen supports HDR10
