  • In this week's video we're building a track using an RCA 77-DXM Ribbon Microphone (Japan) from the 1960's, a BBC L2 Ribbon Microphone (England) from the 1950's, and an RFT M21a Dynamic Microphone (Germany) from the 1950's. Be sure to check the end of the video for samples of the BBC L2 Lip Microphone EQ Box!

The EQ names are pretty funny! I’d have to assume that plastic + fabric windscreens were common at the time, and the EQ just emulates what they would have sounded like!
