  • @znhait
    @znhait 3 года назад +102

    The Brands should be doing more work expanding DeSanto's offensive arsenal. He's an average wrestler when he can't use that dump. He's already not good on the mat, so he has to be elite on his feet.

    • @chandler8080
      @chandler8080 3 года назад +35

      I agree he needs to expand his take down options. His right hand grip allows those consistent dumps and due to his broken finger during the semi's paired with RBY's adjustment to keep his left arm back Desanto wasn't left with many options. I'm a huge fan, but it really showed his lack of versatility. But Watching him finish and win his semi's after the injury was incredible.

    • @nsmarc8
      @nsmarc8 3 года назад +6

      Agreed, with what little time he has left he needs to work on that but also if he can’t finish he needs to push the pace the entire match like he does in the 3rd period, he could very well rack up a few points from stalling. Especially since RBY usually stalls

    I do think RBY’s improvement is very impressive, but he stalls in a lot of close matches. Daton fix and him would have an interesting match because both stall. However Fix unapologetically backs up or stays still and re-shots after playing defensively, RBY’s movement is uniquely fast and great with angles, so he literally dances around and and cuts for shots or slidebys too fast for people. I respect RBY more but I don’t think RBY or Fix are exciting to watch. SNS.
