per bloomberg report this morning: internal leak at Tesla says the robotaxi unveil is delayed til october
There was 0% interest rate in China for June with a down payment, 3 year term loan with Tesla. For July it's still at 0% interest but for a five year term loan with down payment. I took advantage of the deal last month and got a MYSR. Notibly, UK models are produced at Giga Shanghai also. So, perhaps those interest rates are connected to the production rate there? Just a thought.
People who try FSD and use it on normal routes will be far less likely to encounter an issue, so focusing on drivers who are "stress" testing FSD is a very good idea and benefits everyone.

Interesting comparing the 0% available in the UK with US prices.
So in the US, after taxes and Registration you are paying $51k….in the UK a similar vehicle is around £52k …..which at the exchange rate at the time of writing is the equivalent of $67k.
As a private purchaser (not business), as far as I am aware, there are no incentives offered in the UK, unlike what I hear in the US
Theyre not only getting free advertisers but also free testing makes sense. What they learn helps all of us. Of course rural northern ontario is a bit at a disadvantage.

FSD transfer won’t happen on new gen 3 and Y for a while so definitely a good thing to take advantage of now.
There are several superchargers near me that are new yet still covered up for over a year now! They need to get moving to open them!

It’s probably going to have a crane off the back so that you could build a fusion plant like every Tesla.
I think the bumper camera would be to replace the ultrasonic sensors Tesla removed a couple of years ago. It would help more with parking than cross traffic at intersections. B pillar cameras are what is used at intersections and why the car creeps forward to get a better view.

I think the Y juniper will be the best with the double glass to quiet noise and a host of other things. But I will buy the Y now to take advantage of the price. I will use it as a local driver around the city.
Has anyone speculated if Tesla makes more money providing supercharger equipment versus running a supercharger NETWORK?
it’s kind of crazy how a car with so many cameras can’t squeeze in a digital rear view mirror. With such poor rear visibility out the back this would be huge.
I can drive mine with the review camera on the display... But yeah, it eats up screen space you may need for something else like navigation, maps, etc... and the camera angle isn't perfect for the job of review mirror replacement, sure.

You have no idea how much this urks me. Especially on S X models…wtf? My pos chevy has it and 360* view, such a game changer to have. I wont buy another tesla until these “basic” features are standard.
Even with the normal AP as we have it here in Europe, I found that many interventions are based on not trusting the system enough. Even if it seems its going to fail, but keeping the nerves to let it do what it‘s going to do, surprised me how it‘s managing to handle the situation positively.
Same thing might be the issue with FSD .
I‘m hoping we soon get the good stuff over here too.

I wouldn't worry about the stock unless you bought it to make a profit in a couple of months. Hopefully you didn't do that which would be gambling. I bought Tesla stock with a 10-year Outlook. I don't like gambling. With a long-term Outlook I've made 10 times my investment over the last 10 years.

The Robotaxi will look like the Aptera because the Aptera will be the Robotaxi. Aptera has been working with Tesla for more than a year because Aptera needs Tesla's investment. The reliable Tesla motor is wanted because the Elaphe motors that they now will not be using, require seal replacements every 10-20K miles. Tesla has extra motor-making capacity due to the current slowdown.

Traded a Model "Y" for a Cadillac Lyriq and have to say I love it!!., agree the Tesla Tech / App is superb and missed; but, the Lyriq is a solid, well done, great range, confortable and luxury vehicle 🚙
14:36 fixing a problem that happens on Elon Musk’s or a RUclipsr route is not a bad thing because they are fixing a scenario not a route. Unlike other autonomous driving products like waymo or cruise, Tesla FSD does not rely on mapped data and instead is trained to just be a good driver so if you fix a problem that the car is having, it is fixed for everyone. The car just knows how to better handle that situation, which may occur on any route.

As far as FSD, I don't think there is a malicious agenda to mislead the public. However, the situation for high-profile beta testers is what it is preferential treatment and getting preferential results. Now I’m beginning to understand why FSD is taking so long to develop, unintended consequences. But now that this is in the open what will Tesla do to provide more even-handed attention?

The specific issues that Elon Musk and RUclipsrs discover may be addressed as a work-around in software but the root cause of the problems may not be fully address or even identified so issues that are closely related to the reported issues may still occur for others.
6 days ago I got into an Uber, it was my first Tesla ride. It was terrible. 😞. Very poor, uncomfortable, rear suspension, and I felt sick. 🤢. And; going home, 30 minutes of winding roads, was another Tesla, and it was an even worse experience. I’m a fan of the technology but after this experience I am going to try to avoid them in the future.

Tesla super charges are not enough for Tesla owners, and they want to open them for all all Ev's? No sense.
Model Y front bumper camera is a must. I had to buy a garage sensor to park in my garage because the Tesla vision sucks for nosing into a tight parking spot. Pretty lame for a car in 2024. Not having parking sensors sucks!!.

Tesla needs a birds eye view for the camera system, even the cheap Nissan sedan has it now. My Equinox had it in 2019. If they had not wasted billions on FSD they could have refreshed the line and expanded it like BYD does.

@@frankcoffey I worked valet for 3 years, no matter how many cameras or gadgets a car came with, the most accurate, reliable, and fasted method of parking were the mirrors and back camera. That's all you need.

Tesla has to make FSD look better than it is. I tried it on a 2000 mile trip from Texas to Colorado and back and it was almost useless. It kept choosing the wrong lane like turn only lanes that were not for through traffic and phantom braking several times....still, after all these years. That's the one the scares me because the driver behind me might think I did it on purpose. Road rage can kill.

good point. however at one point over a month ago, Whole Mars Catalog, had gotten a version that he said was in 'Elon Mode' where the steering wheel nag was removed, before others got it. and it was an earlier version of 12.3
no one is forcing them to buy FSD and they can buy a different auto or not
I think the Tesla strategy of fixing thing is fine ... however, Elon should represent it that way. And if he is not aware his employees are making his life easier then hopefully a video like yours will help to educate him. -- He is famous for overselling his own products and he could stand to improve that reputation. As it stands today I don't believe a damn thing he says. -- On the other hand when Apple announces something it always matches or exceeds my expectations. And those expectations were set by Apple. -- It's why I have lots of Apple products and now after about 5 years of a few Tesla products I'm probably not buying any more.
I would like to see compatibility for garage door openers, rather than after market workarounds or using Tesla's crappy install option. It's laughable.

@@cardonman they didn’t though. Model 3 doesn’t even have a front bumper camera and no parking sensors. No car play or android auto. No heads up display. Really bad self driving system with phantom braking and 2 upgrades costing as much as a new car which nobody buys. You have to pay extra for traffic information which Google provides free on Waze. No radar based cruise control. It sends your information to insurance companies. The brakes suck on the M3P. The battery overheats on a track. Self driving can’t stick to speed limits without a £3400 payment which isn’t even FSD. The car is more like an iPhone 6
