I am a motorcycle enthusiastic... I love making videos with motorcycles... and some how I travel a lot... and this is how travel moto exists.
I want to let you guys know that I am not the best rider ever who speaks good English and knows much about details of the bikes... I just love what I am doing.
if you have knowledge about motorbikes you can be part of the videos by leaving your comments. (I read them all and visit your channels).

You’re correct. And the quality from S Korea is excellent. Hyosung, Kymco, Sym... very reliable machines!

It's funny how people talk shit about Chinese manufacturing.
How about we talk about American manufacturing?
Oh that's right we do have any.
That's why America is falling apart.
So before we bash someone else's house we fix our own first.
Americans forget the we became a superpower because of our blue collar labor.
WW11 was won because out manufactured the Germans & Japanese and NOT because our politicians and Wall st. barons were so intelligent, they make NOTHING, just steal the laborers work and push wages down. Ceo's raped this country and politicians let them.
That is why the fake Chinese Harleys has no quality issues, and when ever Harley Davidson has a recall on quality issues the Chinese copies are of better quality than their American made counterparts originals.

I remember when I worked for John Deere replacing electrical. Harnesses on their tractors and around three or four gentlemen from china spoke with us about an engine problem we were having. Apparently the mowers we were repairing (new ones) before they hit the showroom floors had engines from china and these gentle men came all the way from china to Charlotte N.C. To address the problem with us!! We looked very dirty and ruddy from working on equipment all day. They were dressed very nicely in suits!! They were very friendly and we were able to joke around with them, it gave me a good impression, just a tid bit of info letting you know I am not x-ing out Chinese products in my mind permanently, But I have little money and I just can't afford to purchase inferior products at this time!! When their motorcycles and scooters reach the level of quality that their tv's have reached already, at that point I will seriously include their bikes along with other manufacturers of the same!!
China is already the biggest moped producer of the world. I am not surprised motorcycle will be next.

I like Chinese products. no they don't last as long as high dollar stuff, but your not paying for high dollar. I like being able to buy a moter bike for 1300 bucks and only having it for , four are five years and getting a new one.. its fun..
Living space I will give China the opportunity to prove themselves as far as that concept you mentioned goes, there is a glimmer of hope. Visio is a Chinese manufacturer and their televisions seem to be good in quality!!

Looks like they’re on the right track, at least in the commuter segment. They look like great city bikes. The ADV bikes should have spoke rims, better suited for off road.
Realistic User I actually did specify “off road”. You’ll note all off road capable adventure bikes (BMW GS series just one example) come fitted with spoke rims from the factory. Alloy doesn’t cut it in the rocks.

Sharp looking bikes, if they were 500- 800cc I might even buy one.
If time proves these bikes are reliable and there is adequate dealer support, these small displacement bikes will capture markets long abandoned (at least in the US) by Japanese manufactures.

Great video travelmoto. A lot of the design components look like copies of original designs by KTM, Triumph, Harley Davidson, even older Ducatis with smaller engines, also some Lambrettas. Some of them are quite well done though and look like they would be good starter bikes. The next 5 to 10 years is going to be interesting if they start to do more of their own styling and expand the size of the engines. It could be a little scary for the future of our favourite motorcycle companies if people buy strictly based on pricing. Hope not though.
They are OK but plan on replacing screws often and more breaking down after about 2 years but for the price not bad for fun vehicle

I bought one for a 800 usd , put 30,000 miles on it , just did maintenance , basic repair , clutch plates , one battery, then sold it after four years for 400 usd 200 cc gy series motor. Trail type even used it off road.

These are excellent bikes to practice your stunts and tricks on. They're dirt cheap and likely disposable by design, so why not buy one as a "crasher".

Well the first bunch of motorcycles were by Zontes, and from what I understand they've made a good reputation in the UK. I wouldn't sell the Chinese short, they know to increase their market share the quality has to come up. (Also, if you notice most of the negative reports on the net as far as Chinese motor products are concerned are from as many as ten years ago...or more)
Are there little weedeater engines inside the plastic replicas of bigger engines?
If the price is right I'll play on one. But needs to be really cheap. Not dropping the same on these that I can get a good Japanese bike for.
Das sieht ja echt gut aus. Das es bei deutschen Motorrädern an dieser Vielfalt habert, liegt bestimmt nicht daran das wir es nicht mehr können. Aber die Geschäftsleitung ist ja gerade dabei die Bedingungen für Hersteller und Kunden zu verschlechtern.

10 maybe 15 years from now they'll be as good as Japanese or German motorcycles. They do look good, so credit for that. So would I buy one now? No.
Wonder what the build quality is like & how long they would last. They are cloned copies on popular brands.

My current bike is a SYM wolf 150 Classic. It's a clone of the 70s CB125. I've had 0 problems with this bike. the engine runs good no matter how hard i ride it. Any maintenance i've needed has been done by me. I got the bike last February, put 4k miles on it in 3 months. the back brake is a drum. it's not the greatest and the components on the bars are plastic, but i'm absolutely satisfied with the bike. 3000 dollars for the bike and i had a blast. there's nothing i can complain about. I wanted a bike, then and there, because i was desperate to be back on a bike. It's an addiction.

I love harleys. Really, i do. I grew up with all kinds of bikers both Harley and Sportbike guys. I just can't ride a bike that has cruiser bars. I just can't seem to control the bike. but if i have straight bars, mx style bars, or even clip ons i'll be all set.
Ok, somebody send me a Chinese bike and I will take it all the way across the TAT. We need these in India, along with better spare parts availability and low service costs. These are goi to sell like hot cakes.
My father bought a chinese bike because its cheap. One month later, the push button electric starter broke. Next month, the choke lever broke. And the cost for maintenance is higher than if you buy a branded trusted bike.
Chinese bikes are made to be rode in China, where the local mechanic will charge you between 1-10USD per repair.
Warranty 1 months use and throw bikes 😂

I own a Zontes motorcycle, engine is of superiour quality than indian motorcycles, been using for 5 years with no issues. I think this brand is starting to make its name around the world, excellent value for money.

They have some nice standards and touring bikes, but where are the sport bikes.
Designed nicely interesting but the engines do not give power weak engines 125,150,250 ccm
I bought new motorcycle from family go cart used it one week battery dye than not running at all had only 400 miles and still sit in garage

Oh yeah you say Chinese bikes are crap & last 1 year...Well mine is now on it's 4th year with zero problems, No rust, No parts falling off & passed M.O.T with no advisories. Look after them & they'll be ok.

Some of them look very good but I am not convinced about the quality as the chrome and metal will start rusting in no time .They will get there eventually though and impressive. Still easy to copy ideas less easy to replicate quality!
Motorcycle manufacturing is probably on the wane since M/C's are banned in most major cities. Most of these designs take me back to the 1950's and 60's with a few attempts at a more modern era. Would I trust my life to one of these retro relics? I think not. However, in another video I did see a very nice looking machine that would pass as a 1900's sports tourer coming in the 650cc range.

I think that Chinese motorcycle companies are probing the market. (the collective work as one) Oh, they will catch up soon in quality you can bet your money on.
There have been comments about Chinese made motorcycles may not be bad and that Japanese products were not good once upon a time! There may be some truth to that, but when the Japanese started making motorcycles way back in the late sixtys early seventys they were excellent in all aspects, unlike these Chinese cycles! They just are not that good at this time, why waste your money on one when for a little more you can have an excellent machine that will last you for years with little to no major problems!!
Kevin Rollman I use to have taiwan motor bike for a spand of 8 yrs I use it it never give problem and i love it just take the proper maintenance its worth the money

guys, i previously work with europe company and most of the parts of our final products are from China. I'm not gonna state what but The company i'm previously in is well known internationally. better educate yourself before commenting. You guys make urself look stupid here.
How about the quality..?here in Philippines we have a racal, rusi brand of motorcycle..all this are made in China...it so sad to tell that the quality are poor..

I own 2 Chinese motorbikes - Cafe Racer and one Enduro Can watch some videos on my channel. Love them.
They are pretty hung up on that 1978 Honda XL250-S motor. They use it in nearly every bike

One thing about what china making and copying motorcycle is that branded motorcycle would think twice in jacking the price of their overprice bike. The market would be more competitive
