i have watched this sooo many times and dons reaction gets me every time. it shows us that he really does care about charlie, and that he doesnt want his brother to die while getting hit by a sledge hammer on a bed of nails. lol
Love this scene, everyone talks about Don freaking ot, thats fair, it is funny to see him in full on paniking protectiv brother mode, but honestly, I find Ian freaking out way more interessting. Of cause does Don freak out, this is his baby brother, and he probably freeks out over Charlie catching a cold . . . Ian careing enough to freak out is way more endearing just from that context. He simply and a bit reluctendly likes the kid as a guy who os not prone to form connections or care ^^

lol honestly if I were in Don's shoes I would have pointed out that if Larry missed the cinderblock and hit Charlie a little bit lower.... ouch would be an understatement
I saw an eppesode (ha ha I crack myself up) with some truly awful phsics. Larry was talking about how one of his favourite stars disappeared (went supernova) but then explained that it actually occured "...2.2 million light-years ago". Can't believe that one slipped through
