I’ve watched this video hundreds of times. This is by far my favorite model kit I have seen, and I absolutely love the design, and I finally have 80 dollars, it’s time...
i know Im asking randomly but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb lost the login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
@Moses Moises Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I remember watching Gundam back when I was younger and all of a sudden, the nostalgia hit me and the sudden urge to build a collection started bubbling in my veins. (NEVER BUILT ONE BEFORE and just ordered 2 PGs and 3 MGs) But honestly...Watching this beauty come to life scares the living crap out of me cuz I hate reading instructions and to top it off, it's in Japanese. lol. You made it look easy tho. Prop!.
you know it's really frustrating watching how to gunpla videos because it seems like everyone does it differently. But I really love your way it seems really simple and fun. Great video. You got my sub!
The vinyl parts that you have to crinkle up to put under the arms and legs were one of the most difficult things for me to deal with, and I’ve built 30+ Master Grade kits.
my dumb self tried to rotate the arm and twisted that little notch that connects the arm and torso together. so now i sit here as i wait patiently for a replacement. next time ill take better care!
I have a HG model of this and I build it for 8hrs! w/o the stickers and that is my 1st gunpala. Watching this makes me thinks if I got a MG ver it would takes me days to finish it! lol
Good to see that the garbage bag plastic covering on the gears is optional. Because that was a complete turn-off for me to get this kit. Got the 1/144 version. Had a lot of fun with it.
Try Sazabi ver Ka. Nothing could be more perfect about it. The gimmicks, colors and build design are the best. Of course since it's a big gunpla the articulation is a tiny bit lacking, but it won't make that much of a difference
At my local store I first saw the box, and then another guy (who I assume was more experienced) glanced at the selection, took one look at the Psycho Zaku, nodded and grabbed the box hoisting it onto his shoulder lol
MesouricPhantom976 It looked pretty great without the clear decals IMO, so you could always forgo them. Things like helmet and gun cameras and the eyes are a must though.
The fact you actually putt the vinly crap on the joints decently wow dude you have way more patience than me since all ive heard is people giving up eith that
Ben Caldona If you were to just build it (no panel lines, no decals), I'd say 6-10 hours. I can straight-build a more basic MG in about five hours, but this fella has a lot of additional gear, and admittedly I do rush somewhat. If you've not built Gunpla before, I'd recommend starting with HGs rather than MGs. The HG Revive RX-78-2 is a superb starter kit, really recommend it. If you want to instead jump straight into MG, I'd say the MG The Origin RX-78-02 would be a great starter kit - it was my first MG, and I found it to be a really great leap between the first two grades.
Awesome work on the build of thiis model. holy crap you went from 100% built to 200% FULL COMPLETION. any advice for building this? especially with the cloth wrap on the joints?
I have this kit and still have not put it together. Haven't built a kit in a long time and wanted to get back into it. I'm scurd. Great video, will definitely check more out.
would thinner to clean panel line directly on plastic not eat away at it? or considered more risky? also, why the vinyl paper on the joints, it looks weird to me, i dont understand the concept
The vinyl is there to simulate the joint covers the Full Armor Gundam has. They're there to protect the joints from the debris in the Thunderbolt sector. And no, Tamiya thinner is specifically made for models.
Eric T. Miyahira Well this ain't called the Ver. Ka series for nothing. Almost every 1/100 kit (MG, RE/100, Ver. Ka) will have decals (most of the time) and depending on the kit or the MS, the decal sheet will always be larger than the average credit card.
Chris Gonzales I think it's an interesting detail, but it must be an arse to apply properly. It's the same material as used in bin bags IIRC, so if you apply it too tightly it can stretch and snap during posing.
How's the video? If you like it, Subscirbe and Thumb up!

It would have been legit

Because storing a beam saber directly under the verniers is a GREAT idea lol

The thrusters and coloring give me cold-war era space tech...i love it!!
Yeah with vinyl joint protectors, it really reminds me of an actuall space vessel
Why did you facing the arms upward when you assembled them at 8:50 and 8:56? Is that for avoiding the shoulder joints break? Thanks

You made applying the joint coverings look easy!
what is that?
it is easy i just done it....unless you dont prewrinkle them i dont see an issue.
Do you apply top coat after you build them? I mean without disassembling again?

Cool video. But I have a question. What is the difference between a normal MG kit and version KA MG?
The model was designed by katoki
@@thebuilderstv Thank you for answering this. I'll look him up when I get a chance. ☺️
Are the sleeve covers easy to use, it looks hard to find a place to cut
Very nice. The phyco zaku would be cool, but I wonder if you can make a custom hybrid of the 2; it would be interesting to see.
What's that plastic wrap type of thing you wrapped around the legs? Did that come with the kit?
kazenokai lee Yes. It simulates the canvas the suit has around it's joints in the anime.
you use topcoat doff or gloss?

Are the stickers optional?? Except the ones that are recommended cause I am lazy to do the others..
they're waterslide decals and they're completely optional on the ver. ka. kits :)
Shader013 why buy ver.ka if you dont want water slides :^)
Because the design of the ver ka are that amazing :^)
MesouricPhantom976 It looked pretty great without the clear decals IMO, so you could always forgo them. Things like helmet and gun cameras and the eyes are a must though.
Very cool !
Is it ok if i don't use the plastic to cover the joints?!
I love this channel because he can panel line the kits confidently, with no top coat, I always feared I will crack mine😂
Wdym top cost? Panel line will stay even without some top coat too
@@winniesuwarni874 it's a typo lol, people usually top coat first just for extra protection layer before using tamiya panel liner

What was the spray after you applied the decals?
+BasedSif It's a top coat.
Topcoat maybe ?
What's the point of that black covering material? Does it strengthen integrity of the model or something?
It's part of the Gundam's design because it was used for operating in a debris-filled environment.
Dreion Ah. Thanks.
whats a good decal sealer to use. im over seas right now and bough this Gundam so it waiting for me back home
Can't wait to see psycho zaku next.😄
