Growing beautiful succulents & collecting cool rocks...2 of my favorite things! I love "finding" things in rocks & driftwoods I pick up. Imagination is such a joy!
That’s just so beautiful Liz. I have watched quite a few of your prospecting trips. Finding gorgeous rock specimens is just as exciting as finding gold!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching. 🥰
It looks like a wreath!! So awesome how it grew.
I was just problem-solving on how best to fix a broken 😖 crest! It’s very, very small and delicate! Thank you for this one at the right moment!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching.
Great vision! I can see the large dragon!
Best wishes from Utah.

Hi i just start watching your video i enjoy them
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching.
Lovely with those awesome rocks!!
Thank you! Glad you like it. Thanks for watching.
The rocks are so beautiful. They immediately added beauty and interest to that pot. The crest is beautiful! Thanku also for showing how to cut coz i have one which is overgrown n i was scared to take cuttings. Its a big crest of echeveria starlite. Some parts of it are floppy n i was worried they wld rot. But now i am taking a few crested cuttings n try my luck.
The first cut is always the scariest. Once you get past that, I'm sure you'll be more confident in chop, chop, chop. In a few months, you won't stop smiling looking at your army of crested succulents. 🥰
❤❤❤
Ganda ng rocks🤩❤️❤️❤️
Why would that new plant go smaller over time? Thanks
Could you please indicate (time) at which part of the video are you referring to?
how can u tell which way the succulent is gonna grow?
Succulents being a plant would always reach for the light. But in the case of a crested plant, sometimes it doesn't have the space to grow upwards or where the light is. Instead, they grow sideways. If you blocked where they can grow to, they will grow into whichever space is available. This is why a lot of rosette forming succulents become leggy.
👍😊💚🌸🌸
How long have you been growing succulents? I see you joined FB 2020. Is that when you got interested?
I've been on FB since it first started. I started growing succulents 7 years ago to replace the water thirsty plants in my big garden. Didn't know they could be so addicting to collect.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK sorry, I wrote FB and meant RUclips. I enjoy your channel. I am new to succulents and really enjoying them. I don’t have but a few, however.
How do I watch your prospecting trips?

hi Liz love your channel. what is crusted ? crested? mean. thank you
Crested is a plant mutation when plants grow into a fan shape instead of normal straight round stem. This happens when it gets a cut or bitten by insects or infected with virus.
