Imagine Drag Race Olympics: We have around 15 countries with a Drag Race Franchise, so we have 3 queens from each country, for the first episodes they compete as teams, until we get to like 7 countries, then they do like a lipsync smackdown so we get to the top 12. After that, they compete individually

It could create lots of good lip syncs. Let’s say A queen from the uk and a queen from France are in the top 2 and bottom 2 😮 they have to win to keep the queen from their franchise then.

Hey Mera! I’m a UK fan. Just wanted to give you a little bit of context on why I think it’s titled “UK vs The World”. Basically we have a conservative government who are very big on “British Values”. Around the time the series was in post production (late 2021) there were some conversations about the standards that Public Service Broadcasters have to follow. Part of the conversation was that programmes that are publicly funded have to be “Distinctly British”. VS The World is produced by Americans, hosted by Americans, and telling stories from people all over the globe. To follow those rules that could’ve been implemented (idk if they actually have) they really amped up the “UK” aspect. Hope that gives some context. ❤
Maybe they already committed with the BBC on a season 2 of Vs and can’t back out. It does seem super chaotic to have this plus Global, but in the end I’ll watch any and all seasons they put out! The UK Queens are all so talented from all 4 seasons so they definitely need their own All Stars. Or bring more of them to the U.S. All Stars so they can earn that $$$
vs the world installments should burrow from Survivor. have team from the region and an international team. all challenges should be group (girl group, dance, rusicals, etc...) whichever team loses has to vote a member out. then have teams merge at like 5 girls left to fight for the crown.

From a marketing and business standpoint, They have 3 different "international all-stars" because if one season flops, they still need a source of income. For example, Season 14 running at the same time as UKvsTW. Having multiple seasons at a time acts as a safety net for WOW, leaving VH1 and BBC to figure it out with advertisers and iconic moments
Bob has always been a Madonna stan and after her work with her last year ..clearly it worked very well and the feeling is mutual. . Bob is now going to be on a full sold out tour and if she does a bit of comedy as a support act she could become the biggest RODr Drag Queen in the world , she deserves it. Loved her comedy gigs. She’s going to overtake Bianca.

I quite literally just got back from Las Vegas this morning! I mean, the Drag Race LIVE Show was so soo good - the last show I had seen before this was Werq the World and it was a bit lacklustre - but this really exceeded my expectations, it was amazing. We also ran into Eureka and bought her a drink, she was super nice. Alexis Mateo, who is an alternate, is literally my favourite people ever now. She totally acted like we were friends at Pirhana and let us just hang with her

I have the tv and been channel. None of the US seasons. From their commercials and what I seen watching, they have Canada and the Philippines. And I THINK I saw the UK. Basically, the English speaking WOW Presents Plus shows.
As much as i would like to see a truly Global All-Stars, I don't know how they would get past language barriers. Runways and sewing challenges would be fine, but some jokes don't translate well, so how would something like Snatch Game be played? A comedy or Roast challenge? An acting challenge?
The language is still an issue. Espana vs the world would not work at all. And a lot of queen's English is not good enough to compete on even level in an international all stars
I’m not particularly excited by the idea of drag race having their own network. I predict that they would maybe reach out to similar channels on youtube (i.e. Greengay) and offer to make their content as an exclusive to drag race universe. Like making mangled morning an actual daytime talk show, and now there’s gonna be a paywall on something we consume for free right now. I understand this would mean more money for the show and go ahead and get your coin girl, but it probably isn’t gonna be sustainable. I think the content they’re gonna release may be too similar to each other. It’s probably gonna be ranking after ranking, list after list, etc. And videos may be censored and selectively edited so now they can’t criticize decisions of the show, call out producers, the edit, etc. In short, it’s not gonna be broad enough to be successful in my opinion, and it’ll probably collapse after they realize they can’t sell as many subscriptions as they expect.
