A fantastic alternative for that Bakuchiol oil serum you're enjoying (That is also over $100 cheaper, without sacrificing much of the efficacy at all) would be Sweetsation Therapy's Omnio Green Cavi-R Retinolixir. It has VERY similar ingredients.. and in my personal opinion, from the looks of the ingredients list at least appears to be even better. Sweetsation Therapy has fantastic products!!! Kate Bosworth mentions often that she enjoys their all mineral SPF 'Sun Si'Belle'.

I'm loving everything Beauty of Joseon at the moment, but haven't tried this cleansing balm from their line. Now I'm intrigued. Looks lovely. I recently bought a couple of their other cleansers which I have lined up to try as soon as I finish the ones I'm currently using.

Oh Márcia, how lovely it always is to see you love! You have sharp eyes, the BR Lait 02 is the ultimate, my HG and I will always use it. The Chifure is a far simpler formula but glorious in other ways and I've been enjoying it so much! It also emulsifies beautifully with water.
Love seeing the chifure cold cream. It's my go to cleanser paired with. the cerave salicilyc acid cleanser, but as you said, it can work on its own But I prefer to use it as a cleansing balm for my oil based cleaning phase when I have extra spf layers that are difficult to wash away. curious to try the backuchiol oil. I also dicovered a nice egf and poteoglycan watery gel for my microcurrent treatment, works flawlessly.
Could you please share your opinion on why you would use the treatment serum before toner? I also think the same should be done so as Serums are the ones that does the job most but toners are however thinner than serums in their consistency. Will toner wipe away the serums that left and yet to absorb as it is thinner like water? Am I thinking too much? 😅😬

I've heard mixed things about if you can use copper peptides and retinoids in the same routine. Can you explain? I bought the NIOD cais3 and also medik8t crystal 3. Wondering if I should use both in the same night or if I should alternate. Sounds like you think it's fine to use in the same routine if there is no irritation...is that right?

I love the IUNIK cleanser as well that is until I discovered Pyungkang Yul's oil cleanser. It is amazing and my skin feels super clean and does an amazing job at removing my stubborn eye makeup.
Man, I was so excited about the Balm cleanser but it looks like they have reformulated it and added a bunch of polyethylene’s. 😢 why do they do that 😅??
Did you ever had any issues with packaging of iUnik cleansing oil? I went through 4 bottles of it (can you tell that I love it?) and every time the pump leaks and makes a huge mess in my bathroom.... Also, regarding peptides - how copper peptides compare to the usual peptides we see in skincare?
I thought it was just the bottle i have! It tends to get greasy and always seems to have a coating of oil but never too extreme like leaking everywhere!
@@gothamista no, it doesn't look like it's just you and me. I think it's the pump that's causing the issue. Regardless of that, I love this oil, so my solution is to keep a folded sheet of paper towel underneath the bottle and soak up oil right after use.
Ah, yes it's actually quite a different experience although a similar concept - the renaissance mask feels very 'glyceriney' to me and is also a bit stronger, whereas the tata harper is more like an oil/butter balm!
You should apply hydrating skincare products to damp skin for optimal hydration. (I am talking about hydration here, not acids or retinol or sunscreen; just basic skin hydration). That means you shouldn’t towel dry or let air dry the skin after washing in the first place, or wait to dry between steps, in order to prevent transepidermal waterloss. So you wash your face, rinse with water, wait a few seconds so that skin is not dripping wet but still wet/damp, then apply your first layer of skincare (hydrating serum or toner, which are those containing humectants, niacinamide etc). don’t wait for this layer to dry before applying the next hydrating serum layer or the occlusives/emolients (oil/moisturizer). Just apply the next layer on top, immediately. Do this both morning and night. It works wonders for dry cracked skin (experienced on the back of my hands , applying moisturizer on wet skin right after washing, nothing else worked) or extremely oily dehydrated skin (my face acne reduced significantly and my barrier was restored; again, nothing else worked). Your skincare products will also be absorbed much nicer.
@@mimimoon6082 The toner felt unnecessary because it didn't give me any calming nor hydration benefits, the cleanser irritated my skin and caused some redness, the cream was too heavy for me.

The Tata Harper mask looks a lot like the Oskia Renaissance Mask, which predates it.
