Great job man, I've learned more watching this video than when I tried watching "professional" reviews. Thank you
Your welcome. Glad you enjoyed the video.
i realize Im kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good website to stream newly released movies online ?
I have this exact mixer for about a year now. Love it (especially for the price).
Its a good mixer.
Thanks Man!! One of the very few videos out there on this mixer. I may give it a try! The price is great ! Thank you for this review
Your welcome. Glad you enjoyed the video.
I have two of these. Different brand same setup. I recommend these for churches or anywhere where complications are a problem. The simple straightforward interface is very welcome. This is even in churches with money. I’m replacing a beautiful two thousand dollar board they are intimidated by with one of these efficient color coded gems.
They really appreciated. I use one of these with my band and I have a spare. Fits a regular suitcase with padding. I like it. Reverb is good. Only drawback is that the 1/4” outs don’t work if you’re using the xlr.
These reviews are a god send for me, thank you so much!

Just got a DT8 for my drum kit. No manual anywhere available but your video answered all my questions even though it’s on the 12 channel. Can’t wait to try it out. Thanks for the info!
Your welcome. Glad I could help.
I'm looking at theb8 channel version also to mic my drums through and then output to the main PA mixer. Does it come with an operating manual written in English?
@@therevenants I still haven’t found a place online that has mine. It s working great for sending my drum signal to the main mixer.
@Paladin ClassicRock many thanks for replying 👍. I'm sorely tempted to buy and at that price point its worth taking a chance I think. I found another video revue of a generic unbranded model identical to the Depusheng dt8. I'll see if I can link it.
There you go.

Im not sure bit the ones branded Weymic comes with an English manual. Same product

Hiii you are the best, i cant find more videos about this mixer, could you pliz make another explaining how to used with ableton!!!! or something like that :D!!! loveya
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed. Yeah, I couldn't find any videos on this mixer when I got it. So I learned how to use it myself and then did a video on it. Sure I can make a video like that. I'll see what I can do.
Thanks, very helpful

thks for the video man, just wanted to know when you record via your daw with this mixer, does each channel has its own separate output or do you only get one output? Saw this issue with the behringer
Its one output. There's no direct outputs on it.
hi bro just ask what is the connected in the XLR main out ? direct powered speakers? please let me know thanks
Hi, how are you supposed to turn off the effects (to speak etc) without a footswitch option?
can you record multiple channels at once like a rehersal or performance?
Nice overview, thank you sir. Man I am nervous on buying this since it's so cheap. Any major complaints? It has a low noise floor?
its actually a very decent mixer no complaints yet.
I need a step by step tutorial on how to use this with the mpc x
Great Review…..Do the Microphone inputs work while in Bluetooth mode?
As far as I know all of the inputs work while in bluetooth mode. So the microphone inputs should work.
Is this unit self-powered? Do you need a power Amp?
These are nice but reviews say they lack effects such as reverb etc? Also would you need an audio interface to record onto pc or is there one builit in?
they do lack effects so you'll need an external effects processor to get the effects you need or want. it has an interface built in.
Hello. Very compliments for video. One question... Are good effects (reverbs) for to sing. It are professional effects? Thanks
Thanks glad you liked the video. From what I've seen on this mixer it only has 2 effects, Delay and Reputation. Your welcome.
@@TheMusicChanneljakerocks it's repeat which is either an echo or reverb type of effect.
Does it work with a ZOOM Recorder? to record all the channels on this mixer? Thanks mate
It should. I don't have a zoom recorder, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
Does this have USB thu? So that if you play something on your computer it can be recorded as a track while recording in a DAW?
Yes it does
Hey there. I live in China and am looking at getting a new mixer. My other cheap Chinese one just died (RIP), though it served me very well for the two years it worked.
I'm curious to know how your DX12 is working. Is it silent? Is everything still working? Are you still happy with it?
I'd be very grateful to know these things. Thanks in advance.
Sorry to hear about your other mixer. My DX12 is still working very good. It doesn't make any weird noises and everything is still working on it. The DX12 is a great mixer if you're looking for a new one.
Can I connect to my computer, and then record multi tracks in my DAW?
For example, record a piano and a guitar at the same time and have to independient channels ?
When I tested this for recording it seems like it will record everything on the same track if you record a piano and bass at the same time. So if you were to use this for multi track recording, you would have to record each track separately.
@@TheMusicChanneljakerocks I just ordered this mixer, I don't have a mdi interface, I'll be using it for recording my vocals into FL studio, is it possible with this mixer.
@@ColbyHollerman I’m waiting to find out the same I’m using fl studio 20 and I’m looking to use this as a live mixer
@@POPPA_SLOTH_PLAYZ I returned it something like I was gay but they're like there was no way for me to connect this to the computer which I was confused by how it sold on Amazon showing it has a computer mode
Just wondering if you can record from the mixer to an iPhone? Does it have a direct jack for that?
I know you can record from the mixer to computer but I don't think it has a direct jack for mixer to iPhone unless there's a USB plug out there with the right end for the mixer and the right end for the iPhone but I'm not 100% sure about that.
On what way are you record to USB?
Hello my friend I have a question. Have a Behringer stereo external infection how do I hook that up in Stereo to this board it only looks like there is one send and one return are they serious sins stereo returns do you have the book that tells you that or do you need a special cable please let me know if you can thank you
since there's only one return if you wanted to do a stereo connection you would need to use 2 of the channel inputs on the mixer and pan one hard left and the other hard right. as for the send there is only one send on the mixer.
I see you've had this device for a while now. Do you still like it? Have you had any problems with it? Cheers!
I still like it. I've had no problems with it. The only thing I wish it had was more built in effects, but other than that it's a great mixer no issues found with it yet.
What about the 48 red button for?
Hey im getting a lot of feedback and just general noise from it, do you have any idea of what it is or how to fix it. I've tried moving it away from my set up but it still does it.
make sure u only use xlr cables. fool proof
ORANGEVALE: I am trying to connect my USB mixer with my pc but I don't know what kind of cables I need to get the pc to recognize it please help.
The cord you will need is a male to male USB cable the end that goes into the mixer should look exactly the same as the end that goes into the computer. Let me know if you need anymore help.
Can u connect this to a laptop ? With a DAW ? ( flstudio, protools, Cubase etc. ) and use it for mixing ?
I've never tried it with a laptop, but I have connected my tablet to it and it will pick up the sound.
I'm sure I could I'm running Ableton Live 10 but the software is new to me. I also have Audacity for my vocals and I'm new to that software as well but I know I can edit with the software. I just have to become more familiar with those applications to be able to use those for mixing purpose. My objective is to do RUclips, podcasting, Audio books, short advertising commercials and maybe some streaming. I don't really do music but because of copy right laws I wanted to be able to put together my own music for background and introductions for my shows and of course advertising. I appreciate all of your assistance. I'm gonna leave the mixer alone for now and just try to proceed with the computer and maybe a two channel digital recorder.
Your welcome.
Am I able to connect my tablet to it to control from there? Is this good for live performances?
as long as you have the right USB cable yes you can plug your tablet into it. it should be good for live performances.
When you connect it to a PC does it act as an audio interface and separate each track on it's own or is it all just combined as one output?
Sorry new to this kind of stuff. I need to record a meeting with 12 mics.
I'm pretty sure it's stereo output. Meaning all the channels are combined when going to the PC.
its combined as one.
@@TheMusicChanneljakerocksyikes that's actually a pretty huge drawback. For the price, you can't beat it tho.
Is the usb in and out?
Or input only?
(You mentioned problems recording to your tablets usb port).
Im looking for something cheap for sending to my phone for mobile facebook live or to my video camera app.
the USB is in and out.
@@TheMusicChanneljakerocks thank you.
Ok so am I correct in assuming that I can use it to stream all output from the mixer using USB directly out to a USB port on my PC. This would be for streaming to Zoom, Twitch and other platforms?. Obviously the cable would be USB male on both ends.
Yes, you should be able to.
Question? Is there a fader for the control room speakers?
There's faders for the mains, channels, and effects, but the control room has a knob instead of a fader.
Great appreciate your help for us ,if any question about the product ,please contact us.Nice day~
Your welcome. And thank you.
I actually do need help, I don't know how to make mine find my laptop, they're connected but the mixer says no device
my sound output is very low and I cant hear anything out of the headphones or it is very low also. What am I missing?
Do you have the headphone knob turned up? I don't think the main faders affect the headphones, but there's a PFL button on every channel push that down and you should get sound through headphones.
I have yet to find a video on this mixer that thoroughly explains that USB flash drive port. Can you insert a flash drive with multiple stems (tracks) on the flash drive, and then assign each track to each mixer channel slider on the mixer? To play all of them together at the same time? Can somebody please inform me about this?
I haven't tried plugging in a flash drive to it, but I can look into it and do a video on it in the future. as far as I know I've just used the USB port to connect to my PC for recording.
@@TheMusicChanneljakerocks so you CAN connect this mixer to a PC and use DAW software, like Reaper?
Hello!!
I have one question: Wich amplifier can I use with this mixer?
Thank you!!
If you're talking about an amplifier for passive speakers you can probably use any amplifier. Let me know if this answered your question or not.
The one on the left
does the phantom power give power to all inputs or can you choose what input you want for phantom power.
It gives to all inputs
thanks
Your welcome
Can it be used with fl studio for music production? Instead of using a mouse can i control the daw mixer with this?
you can use it to record in any daw. I'm not sure though if you can use it for daw control though.
@@TheMusicChanneljakerocksSo if I understood correctly it is possible to record the signal on fl but you are not sure that each of the tracks can be connected to the virtual console, that's it
I have some book shelf speakers i have one set of red and white cables going to my lab top and I tried to plug the Input AUX into the mixing board but I'm not getting any signal any suggestions
What instrument or device are you trying to plug into the mixing board?
Im trying to plug in my laptop my speakers and my midi controller into the mixing board. My mic is plugged into the computer along with usb mic, book shelf speakers and midi controller are all working in the laptop
I would make sure that any channels you're using on the mixing board has the channel volume and the 2 main faders up, and the gain knob on the channel up. If that's not the problem, then I would go to the laptop and make sure that the laptop is communicating with the USB mic and the Midi Controller. You can check that under the laptop device settings and in your DAW. Also I'd make sure that for the sound source I'd make sure the bookshelf speakers are selected in your laptop sound settings. Try these, and if they don't help then let me know, and I will think of something else that could be the issue.
@@TheMusicChanneljakerocks Thank you the mic, and midi controller are hooked into the computer through a USB portal, the Ediefier speakers are connected to the computer via the headphone connection on the computer. They all work and the midi is sending a signal to the DAW and back out through the speakers and they all work fine. I was attempting to connect all of that to a mixer so that I can control everything to mix for recording. I tried to hook the speakers into the mixer the midi and the mic into the mixer and have not had any success. I was wondering if I needed maybe a digital converter to connect them. or if I could hook it up through the USB ports on the computer to the mixer but if I do it that way I don't know if I could control each channel individually. I'd be open to any suggestions
Well if its a USB Midi Controller and A USB mic. I'd try connecting them to the USB ports on the laptop and see if that works. If not then you might need a digital converter, but at least try connecting the Controller and mic to the laptop if they're both USB first. Let me know if it works or not.
What is the repetition effekte? Same as delay?
Repetition effect is a little bit faster in the sound and the delay effect gives you like a dj sort of sound if you turn the knob while playing a keyboard for example. Delay is also a slower sounding effect.
can i connect different brand and frequency mic 🎙 on it and is it MAC compatible
You should be able to connect different mics to it and it should be mac compatiable.
COULD I RUN A WHOLE BAND THROUGH THIS MIXER FOR A LIVE PERFORMANCE? WOULD IT SOUND GOOD?
you could. I'd think it would sound good.
@@TheMusicChanneljakerocks THANX A LOT
Can u hook this up to a daw and record all 12 channels at the same time?
You can, but there's no direct outs, so it will record the mix onto one track.
Does each channel record seperately?
From what I've experienced if you have a piano and bass track playing at the same time they will both record onto the same track, but it is capable of multi-track recording with an app like bandlab for example. If you have anymore questions or concerns just let me know. Hooe this helps.
How do you record with it? Can you show us how to record to usb?
Yes I will do a video on that.
I’m getting a lot of white noise from this mixer. Does anyone know how to fix
it could be the audio plugs you're using. Did you try swapping them out?
With the USB mode can I record 12 inputs via reaper simultanously ?
The Mixer doesn't have direct outputs, but all 12 inputs will work with any DAW.
@@TheMusicChanneljakerocks that's what I want to know thank you.
Your welcome
Can you record multitrack?
Does the repitituos effect sound like reverb?
It does a little bit.
So, my church was gifted one of these boards recently (it is brand new). I cannot get anything out to my stage monitor. On the old board, I used the headphone jack for monitor because there was no other way to get sound to monitor. Now, with this new board, nothing seems to work. I have tried using the AUX out, the headphone jack, I've turned PFLs on and off, etc. I have a dual-in tape deck and CD going into the TAPE IN. This is what I need to feed to the monitor. I guess I should have specified that up front; my mic in's will go to the monitor whether I'm using the AUX out or the headphone jack... Came you help a fella??
If you plugged it into the Aux Send and then turned up the blue knob on the channel path and the blue knob in the main section it should work. I just recently tested it on mine. If it still doesn't work it's probably a bad plug or something. Let me know if you need anymore help. Hope this helps.
Silly question, but are your speakers powered at the church?
This mixer is passive only, so it will not send power.
So you'll either need powered speakers with no amp...
Or use passive speakers with a powered amp.
@@JasonWelchMusic My speakers are passive. Output from this board goes to an amplifier. This is now way above my pay grade...
@@cliffordclaus7872 OK. That helps. You should be able to go directly to your power amps from your main outs.
Then your passive speakers will connect to the amp's speaker outs.
Now that you've successfully connected it, turn all your volumes all the way down before powering up as you did with the old board.
Now you need to check each channel to make sure the gain is turned on. (Usually around 12 o'clock) Now raise your fader for that channel about halfway. Now raise your mains fader until you hear sound.
For your monitor mix, your aux send levels must be turned up. (Both main aux and individual aux) turn those up till you hear a sound from your monitors.
@@JasonWelchMusic Thanks, brother. I will mess with it today and see what I can come up with. I appreciate your help.
I know this video is 2 yrs old. But I can't find the info I'm looking for and you seem to know alot about this mixer.
I cannot get any bluetooth device to connect to my mixer.
I have tried 3 different phones, a bluetooth mp3 player and 2 tablets. Could you explain how to connect? Thank you.
when you press the menu button on the mixer the first option is Bluetooth, so you would press menu and then enter it should connect automatically. make sure Bluetooth is on for the device you wish to connect.
@The Music Channel yep, won't do it. The bluetooth on the mixer must not be sending a signal. I've tried 50+ times.
Thanks for the quick response.
But how do you connected to your computer
ruclips.net/video/WJc_CZOx6aA/видео.html This video has a link in its description to the USB Plug for recording. The plug is a male to male USB cable. The mixer basically has the same USB port as computers and laptops do, so both ends of the plug would fit into the computer. The video that I linked shows the plug a bit too. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Hope this helps.
is possible direct connect USB to PC and record sound in PC via audio software?

Is it possible to record all 12 tracks with ableton live?

@@TheMusicChanneljakerocks It didn't work for me.
How to connect my mixer to speaker?
you can use the Xlr outputs on it or the quarter inch out puts on it. there's quarter inch outputs for the mains and control room outs. I would recommend using Xlr outputs for the mains since you will get better quality sound using Xlr, but if you only have quarter inch that will work as well with that mixer.
Does it have blue tooth headphone out.
I thought it did when I got it, but the Bluetooth that it has is to pair a phone, tablet, IPod, ect... to it, to send your music to the PA. I tried connecting Bluetooth headphones to it and it didn't work.
How do I connect it to the Mac?
I don't have a Mac computer, but you should just be able to plug it into the computer via male to male USB cable and it should work with any DAW. It works automatically with windows PC's. Let me know if you need anymore help.
Is it possible to run this through with fl studio ?

Are there Inserts?
There are no inserts on this mixer, but there is an Effects send and an Effects return. You can also use the channel inputs for Effects processors too.
Mine can't seem to connect to my laptop, im using a usb c but I swear it worked when I tried it for a sec the other day
