Culturally all three are ad unique as eachother, with Scotland and Wales sharing quite a bit thanks to their celtic routes (also Cornwall but we don't talk about them). The St Patrick's cross isn't shrunk, it is split half and half with the Scottish saltire in a pinwheel layout (ie white on the clockwise side, red on the anticlockwise side) but then a white border is added on both sides to comply with the heraldic rules of tincture. Ok maybe I didn't explain it any better, it's a little complicated.

Excellent job, just one note on Scottish education. We don't do GCSEs and A levels as Scotland have a completely independent or 'devolved' education system. Healthcare, town planning and the legal system are also devolved. Again, great job. This was a mammoth episode!

Correct. It's officially only supposed to be called the Union Jack when at sea and is just the Union Flag at any other time, though most people incorrectly call it the Union Jack wherever they see it.

Just one mistake Barbs I've just realised upon rewatching the episode as a Brit which I don't know if anybody else has mentioned but unfortunately it's an important one. Wales doesn't have a Parliament. It has an Assembly. I actually went to visit it in Cardiff one holiday. That should have been well-known information to include in the Political Geography section whereas Scotland does have an official Parliament. Excellent job, just one note on Scottish education. We don't do GCSEs and A levels as Scotland have a completely independent or 'devolved' education system.
Healthcare, town planning and the legal system are also devolved.

Correct. It's officially only supposed to be called the Union Jack when at sea and is just the Union Flag at any other time, though most people incorrectly call it the Union Jack wherever they see it.

Just one mistake Barbs I've just realised upon rewatching the episode as a Brit which I don't know if anybody else has mentioned but unfortunately it's an important one. Wales doesn't have a Parliament. It has an Assembly. I actually went to visit it in Cardiff one holiday. That should have been well-known information to include in the Political Geography section whereas Scotland does have an official Parliament. I don't remember Northern Ireland's position there nor have I visited it yet but anyway, needed to add my two cents there right now.
