There are many research papers written about the changes chondrules might undergo due to actual collision, high energy bursts such a solar flares and actual physical heat. Bolide's are the one situation where some material was found to be of vastly different ages and stages of deformation though in the same fall. Check out the research out of Arizona and New Mexico in particular. Very interesting. Great guest to have tonight so much progress being made, as far as knowledge of non terrestrial conditions, as we all work together. Thanks for having this it was fun to watch!
Great feedback. Thanks for watching. You are correct, there are a bunch of factors and events that go into the final meteorite we collect here on Earth. Please help me spread the word. I am a single man shop and I have a full-time job, not meteorite related. -Topher
Al Hamami=Hamada du Dra. Mine says it fell in 1995 but doesn't say witnessed. Olivene bronzite chondrite H5/6 I think mine was purchased from M. Farmer in the late 1990s, probably shortly after it fell.
It wasn't found till January of 1997. The nomads claimed that this meteorite was found to the south, in Algeria (~29º50'N 5º50'W), in the direction of a fireball seen in 1995 January. (non-confirmed fall)
Thanks for watching. I don't offer free services to help ID stones or want to buy them. Do you believe that you really have a meteorite? Please subscribe to my RUclips channel and submit pictures to: facebook.com/groups/isitameteorite or facebook.com/groups/meteorite.or.meteorwrong.
