Hey everyone! Since filming this video three years ago, we have since fixed the driving in our boat. Check out this video where we correct our driving mistakes!!! ruclips.net/video/-LwUDvNeMvg/видео.html Our wakeboarding has also progressed significantly so come check out our new videos!!
nice job! i really want to try a tantrum/backflip on my wakeboard, but i am so scared of getting hurt or hitting my head on my board. any tips for how to start out?
Try doing some back flips on a trampoline first. Once you're comfortable doing those, it's the same feeling on the water. I would also recommend watching a video David OC made on how to tantrum. Good Luck!
You jus gotta send one. If ur doing a tantrum you’ll be laid out so unlikely you hit your head with the board, and landing on your head honestly does not hurt I’ve done it and my friends have too but doesn’t really hurt at all just a mental barrier
Stop power turning to pickup rider .. those rollers are are screwing up the water,, and it's also the water your riding. Also if you're going to go back the same direction you came from, at the end of the run, do your U-turn like the end of a cotter pin.
All it takes is pulling back on the throttle and turning one way or the other and you avoid both having to cross your wake and throwing huge rollers for everyone else. They should emphasize this in boating courses because it’s crazy how many people do it.
Thats awesome! We just picked up a Centurion so i’ve yet to wakeboard behind it. Gonna work on trying to clear the wake and possibly start spins this summer!
Congrats on landing it! I'm sure you can do it very reliably now (13 months later). I'm sure it is like the other skills...some people have a super hard time even getting up on the wakeboard, but once they get up they almost always get up. Is the tantrum like that? Once you land it a couple you just have a "feel for it" ?
Pretty much! After landing it the first few times it kind of clicks and I can easily land it 95% of the time. But there were still things that I had to tweak with my tantrum after landing it the first time to get more consistent.
I would suggest trying a heel side backroll. I have been wakeboarding for a couple years and it’s a pretty simple trick compared to 360’s and front flips.
Great progression but please have your driver learn how to drive properly when picking up a riding. Power turns ruin the water by sending rollers perpendicular to your direction of riding which is terrible for keeping the water as calm as you can.

I’m just starting to try flips and I was so beyond stoked when you landed it !
Haha me too!!
One thing to do for flips is to make the rope shorter to reduce the impact of the fall
Landed my first today.. it feels so good

wear a helmet

Glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed lol

@@nickmagn I was thinking the same... someone needs to learn to drive a wakeboarder :-)
bro you need to tell driver to chill with the power turns. It’s no wond r that water looks like crap
Love yalls stuff. Where are y’all located?

Rad dude! Good progression.
If you have decent TS jump, the Toeside backroll is actually the easiest base invert.

Nice job. Tell driver to slow down and keep good water after you fall. No need to turn so hard and make all those rollers.
From sketchy to making it look so easy so quickly. Can I ask what rope length you using and at what speed?
It was a 75 foot rope and about 20.5 mph. Since then, we’ve sped it up to about 21 and it’s felt better
Choppy af. Surf boats should only be allowed during certain times so people can progress without massive chop like this. Great job dude.

You should try a ts front roll
We're planning to learn that very soon!!
Awesome video I just started wakeboarding hurt my knee jumping the wake on landing
Felicitations from France ! ;)
Great work I’m thinking about trying itto
Good luck!! Trying it the first time is the scariest part, after that you’ll get it so easily!
🔥🔥
so clean
great job!!
Did you slow down any to learn?
We didn’t slow down at all to learn but we did let go a lot during flips so the landings weren’t as hard.
Nice job, but you need a better boat driver lol.
what lake yal riide?
Great progression but please have your driver learn how to drive properly when picking up a riding. Power turns ruin the water by sending rollers perpendicular to your direction of riding which is terrible for keeping the water as calm as you can.
