The UConn Huskies look to return to being a Final Four tier team

With Paige Bueckers returning from an ACL tear that kept her out last year and the addition of freshman KK Arnold, the UConn Huskies look to return to championship glory after having their earliest NCAA Tourney exit against Ohio State. Prior to the loss, Uconn reached 14 consecutive final fours and three straight Big East Titles. 30-year coach Geno Auriemma, Azzi Fudd, Aaliyah Edwards, KK Arnold, and Paige Bueckers talk about the meaning of Bueckers returning and the mindset of getting back to the team they were prior to last year.

Azzi just made it clear.. she's returning next year as most assumed she would. I fully expect (& hope) that Paige will NOT want to leave her beloved UCONN/Geno & close friend Azzi, especially after being robbed of so much precious college playing time due to injuries. Joyfully for UCONN Nation, she'll be on the court in Storrs next season with senior Azzi!!

Ice Brady has been compared by Geno to Willis Reed. Athletic Aubrry Griffin is 6'1", but plays 7'1" with her leaping. Amari DeEBerry is 6'6". Ayanna Patterson is a rebounding fiend.

We don’t refer to our women’s basketball team at UConn as The Lady Huskies. They’re the Huskies…that’s it. All of our women’s teams are referred to as Huskies as a matter of fact.
