I have a 2008 Jetta I thought I lost the key fob so I started using the spare key to lock and unlock. Once I found my key fob it messed up some of my doors locking and unlocking. Well at that point some intruder around 2 weeks ago got into my car around 3 am setting off my alarm they got in because all my my car doors wouldn’t lock. Now all my doors don’t lock at the same time the light on my drivers door the red light blinks , but I’m able to open it and the alarm won’t go off now. I’ve watched RUclips videos after RUclips video. A friend of mine came over 2 days in a row trying to help me fix it that’s why I need advice from a car mechanic.
Just got a 2019 Atlas SEL pre. With the doors locked, I pressed the lock button again and the horn beeps. Unlock the car pressing the key fob button twice turns off the beep. I somehow accidentally turned it off and it's taken me 3 days to figure out how to turn it back on. That was all done through the key fob not a computer or a cable or software.
Ok and what did u do to fix it?

How can I disable keyless entry. That is I want to be able to open the car by pressing the open button on the Fob. Sounds odd, but I'm a surfer and want to put my Fob in a lockbox on my door.

Hi man do you know if it’s possible to turn on lights when you unlock the car. Apparently it is not factory made on the 2010 Scirocco’s. I saw some guy had done it on his Passat.

How about this....my car is an 09 Jetta Wolfsburg, did the honking, and when my battery went out and i replaced it it stopped honking. I dont have the VCS (which i want, cause i want to do the windows with FOB) so is there another way to change the setting without the software?

I have a 2010 Jetta and mine just stopped honking randomly as well. I would like it to though as the confirmation helps. My key battery is saying low at times so I might change that and see if it makes a difference, but I doubt it.

Yeah mine randomly stopped the lock indicator beep today. I miss it.

in europe, they sounds more like the two tones horn "tut tut!" not beep beep
@@sheppardpat47 yea, Euro beeps are different. I changed my door ding sounds to the euro sound, With the program

Bro just plug in the cable to the laptop and the obd port of the car, and open up VCDS on the laptop
