I have to share…years ago I had a picture of Mr. Alston. I had a huge crush!!! So the picture was strategically placed for my “suitors” to see his picture when they came over. So if anyone asked who the man in the picture was, I would answer in one of two ways: If I liked the guy I would say “Oh, that’s Gerald Alston of The Manhattans. “ If I didn’t like the guy I would say “Oh, that’s my ex husband.” Gerald Alston has the smoothest singing voice. Great interview. Brings back lots of memories. Thank you!
