Aging is a process we all have to learn as we grow. I hope when I am old, I can be graceful and be grateful for the friends and things I am blessed to have.
Since I was young, I was typically old before my time. My body condition used to be as old as Methuselah, poor as an Antique, easily got something wrong. After practicing chinese CHI GONG 2 yrs ago , my well being gets better and better. Now I am 47 yrs old , and so far I don't feel senile , not over the hill but feel stronger day by day. I respect very much those old timers or old guards , which have so many lessons to teach us. (As long as they are not curmudgeon.) Those old fossil set in their way are still possible aging gracefully, like my grandma. She could live without any modern electrical appliances! And she never lived in the retirement home before she passed away.
