If i was to do a pitch for Blade it would be this. First start it off where the regular vampires are already evolving pass the silver weapons and now they need adamantium or non regeneration based weapons. They are evolving through medication because of Deacon Frost. I would make him more of a ceo of a pharmaceutical that would be trying to make vampires more stronger and immune to weakness by mixing their blood with supersoldier serum and mutant bloodline to infect more and to sell these vamps to the black market as mindless soldiers that follow orders. (This would already make Blade slightly more important to be in Marvel.) For the magic side of things I would make it where - Regular vamps dont have magic - Evolved vamps would have partial magic - Alpha vamps (Blade, Deacon, Dracula) would have the potential of full range of magic Blades magic would be - sealing magic to deactivate spells, potals or curses - Hell fire magic that will be burning runes appear on his blades and other weapons to spiritual burn opponents - Reflection magic to reflect magic based attacks to the opponent For Dracula i would make him the son of the one below all and when hewas on earth in the past he was worshipped as a god but betrayed by his own as he was sealed back in hell, but now Deacon frost is trying to revive him while making a new line of superior vampires that will obey Dracula to be his soldiers to create a New World Order.
First I was 100% more interested in Blade over Ironheart and thought it could be good. I was looking forward too it, I was born after blade and the first time I watched it was with my mom so I was happy to see it come back no matter the actor and hoped he would do a good job.
Blade 100%. Wesley Snipes is eye candy all the way AND he made the character worth watching. Never paid attention to ironheart. The only way a new Blade would be good is if the new actor is able to put his own spin on the character without losing too much of what W.S. built.
Blade wasn't ever in the MCU. The 'MCU' began after Disney acquired Ironman from what I remember. However, Blade was still a Marvel IP and literally kept Marvel from going belly uip in the late 90's early 2000s. I remember watching the first Blade movie at my cousins home while they were showing us their new DVD set up lol. When I saw the character, I didn't recognize the iteration but obviously he was the vampire hunter from the spiderman cartoon show. BTW the song in the background is by Prodigy - Smack my B up'. Kinda fitting for this scene since every movie in the latre 90s was blasting The prodigy in their movie scenes lol.
Marvel was in such bad condition they sold the rights to X-men, Fantastic Four and others for pennies on the dollar. In fact I think the sold all mutants. Disney ended up re-acquiring them.
Not quite, the 2003 Hulk movie is canon to the MCU, as is the early 2000s Spiderman trilogy as of No Way Home, but Blade indeed has never been tied to the MCU.
Not "MCU", but 100% Marvel. Marvel was in a horrible spot with movies at that point and if it wasn't for Blade they probably wouldn't be what they are today movie wise.
It's best that you don't finished she-hulk cause ugh it's worse then they complain about Deadpool because it's what the fans wanted from a movie like what that's stupid
