    Mind blowing detail very comprehensive video of how to make this kit not for the faint hearted modeller its so impressive in astonishing detail ,trouble is with me i have too many unmade kits to yet another you have to be very determined to to Finnish this fantastic kit. great video with happy music , i really enjoyed watching it being made well done for a museum standard model of AKAGI it happens to be one of my favourites too thank you .

    Fun fact. I saw british documentary, like 7 years ago, about classified documents that had been released. It told the story of a UK major, a navy pilot, who gave the japanese the british blueprints for their first carriers. He was also the first person to land and take off off a Japanese carrier.

    That was amazing, I had never seen one of the Japanese aircraft carriers built as a model before, I'm just getting back into model making, usually 1:72 scale war birds or 1:350 scale ships, I think the after market Photo Etch kits, plus the crew & aircraft really finished it of nicely, well done.

    SPOILER ALERT: Be sure to hit the MUTE button as there is no commentary on this video BUT it is crammed full of some of the worst music I have ever heard and does nothing to enhance the model build, which by itself, is an excellent job.

    I just finished 1/700 waterline Yamato yesterday! At 1/700 scale, I had to give up on the handrails and rigging. To be honest, they were virtually invisible anyway. But they look great at 1/350!

    How long did this take you? How much do you think in labor etc would it cost me if I was a buyer of this finished art work? I'm getting back into the craft after 30 yrs

    Battle of midway is actually one of the campaign games that is the second world war game vanguard give you some rough idea how bad the battle there are still some sunken Japanese aircraft carriers
