Marble League Fanfiction to make a chaotic ending: The Savage speeders will fall down to 7th like the 8th O'rangers at the end of the league. The Hazers will climb to 2nd, behind Minty Maniacs who were aided by Jelle to find the Chocolatiers' secret: Their homemade fudge recipe. It was inside the trophy because the Chocolatiers thought they would win the ML 2020. However, the Minty Maniacs realize it was in secret code, but then the Kobalts come in with Chef Hats and Sunglasses and the Fudge ready. Right when they are about to eat the fudge in front of the chocolatiers tied to a wall, the turtle sliders mistake it for plastic, which they have been collecting, but later start playing with the bubble wrap. The Balls of Chaos in 16th are mad and start a fiasco with the 5th place Bumblebees and the 15th place Hornets, while the 6th place Thunderbolts are making thunder flood the andromedome. 14th place raspberry racers are unhappy with the 9th place team galactic, as they lost tiebrakers to the Mellow Yellow and O'rangers respectively, while King Stardust is sleeping. Team Momo celebrates their bronze by eating dumplings, and 4th place Oceanics are racing the 12th Green Ducks, only to lose in the water section. The Limers break in, but get booted by the Raspberry Racers from the Andromedome to the Artic Circle, where the snowballs beat the Gliding Glaciers in Marble League 2k20. Crazy Cat's Eyes fight Midnight Wisps due to losing the tiebreak, and then the Shining Swarm and Pinkies go head to head in a beauty Contest. The Rojo Rollers and Team Primary argue if being bilingual or being artistic is more important. Jungle Jumpers jump for Momo as they like green. Jawbreakers are complaining about soggy Jawbreakers. Meanwhile, all of this was masterminded by the Indigo Stars.
Not gonna lie, that last race cemented me as a Kobalts fan. Azure won effortlessly, but still showed so much grace and sportsmanship. And that smile on the podium was so genuine!
This was my first qualifier I watched, and after the second event, the Kobalts have won me over already. And then they won the last two events! Wow! Was the black hole time a record?

I was hoping with two endurance events the Turtles could keep it slow and steady, but the only thing that seemed steady was their position at the back of the back.

It was the same last year. I think it might be time for the Limers to be retired, and be used by "local tournament's" aka the public domain. We might also have to see that with a few teams in this showdown and be replaced by new teams like the Green Gang.
@AheadMatthewawsome, maybe it is time for some of the team members to retire and other members to take the spot. It has been done before, the Thunderbolts for example, have had all their team members replaced.
team primary has the second fastest marble in M1, prim, but still send out rima for a speed event. The management behind them is absolutely horrid and Prim deserves much MUCH better, I'm happy to see them into the qualifiers for next year but without changes to the management, they won't be able to get into the marble league
I worry that Prim's career is going to be ruined because of the management of their team. It's clear that they are the class of their region, but questionable decisions and poor race strategy keeps Prim from stocking an awards cabinet that should be full by now. Imagine if Prim got traded to the Savage Speeders or The Orangers... how dominant would that team be?

I'm so heartbroken and disappointed. Team Snowballs needs a major roster overhaul, because current leadership is putting the melt on the team. It might be time for coach Blizzard to go and for captain Snowflake to retire from active competition. If these two can't set aside their egos, then I think Snowy should consider leaving the team and pursuing independent ventures, or maybe even starting their own team.

Idea: The friendly round in ML 2021 where the first 3 and the host compete should also include the bottom 4 of the showdown since they won't be in the qualifiers either
But, the snowballs or turtle sliders or jawbreakers will be crushed by teams like orangers or savage speeders or midnight wisps. I like your idea though. I think limers will still be able to do okay because of their experience. Today I felt that limelime wasnt fully fit.
Ok, why on earth is Snowflake the Snowballs' captain? He is clearly one of the slowest marbles on track, that was proven by Marbula One, and now also the Marble League Showdown. We are going to need to make some major changes in administration if this team is going to be competitive for the next season of Marbula One as well as Marble League 2022. I'm dissapointed that a team I've cheered so hard for has fallen so far since the early days at the University of Snoronto. I personally believe that Snowflake needs to be taken off of the team, or at least removed as captain. Blizzard, the coach certainly needs to step down after this performance. I was heartbroken when none of my favorite teams qualified for this year's league. Now I'm very happy to see the Jungle Jumpers an Kobalts in such a good shape. Clearly they are using their free time for in-depth training and will be ready to attack in '21.

Idk about Turtle Sliders... this is already their second year. How much experience do they need? It's hard not to compare them with teams like Raspberry Racers or the Wisps, who each won the Marble League on their second year, or Green Ducks who got 2nd place on their debut year. Maybe they just aren't cut out for it.
Kobalts have been my favorite team since 2016 (the start of the marble league) so I would love to see them win it and the chocolatiers in 2nd place would make it perfect

They will not auto-qualify with this event, even if they win it. They will only gain the opportunity to be in next year's qualifiers, it will be there where they will fight for gaining access to the ML

Incredibly downhearted. Sometimes I can barely bring myself to continue watching after they lose a heat. I'm just hoping they can qualify next year. Still, Primary is my secondary team and I'm glad they made it through the Showdown.

Fantastic Showdown today! Full of excitement, surprise, and disappointment. Irrelevant of who won and who lost, this was absolutely amazing and intense to watch, and definitely massive thanks to the JMRC and JMR Staff for making such an incredible video possible and putting so much work into it! The Jungle Jumpers were robbed in the qualifiers when Leap fell out of the funnel, earning just two consolation points and causing the Jumpers to fail to qualify in a 4-way tie. And look at their performance today: A gold, a silver, and a bronze, with a last place finish in-would you imagine-a funnel event, and with Leap playing no less.
agreed! I'm a hazers fan first and foremost but I'm proud of the jungle jumpers for proving how strong of a team they are despite being unfairly booted from this year's league
All they needed to do was land somewhere in the middle of the pack and they'd have won all the marbles, but a dead-last funnel slip got them goose-egg points in the third round and tanked their whole overall.
I'm actually rooting for them to be next year's host. Can you imagine how cool their stadium would be? And the Jumpers will throw all the teams off by having wild all-terrain outdoor events.
I'm impressed with the Jungle Jumpers. I think their Wild Card entry into the Relay Race final gave them the confidence boost they needed to leap to the top of the standings. What a comeback!

@CelPlayz_YT Yeah, i've thought about that a lot as well, similar to the Red 3 thing, where he was just performing too well in comparison to actual marbles. It looks like the difference in weight has to be a factor for the consistent high results in most speed events. Team Galactic usually floats somewhere in the middle of the ranking, which also makes me think that their weight is somewhere in the middle, as they seem to do well on dirt events, where it's nice to have some weight to get traction but not too much or too little, but they aren't that outstanding in high jumps or collisions, which could possibly prove it to be true. Or it might just be random. Same for coatings, shiny coatings sorta seem to make them perform better underwater, or, again, it's just random and i just want to see a pattern in it.
@@Games_and_Music It's hard to know. Any differences should be super small, and with true random chance, you would expect the results to form a bell curve. If you flip a coin 10 times, you're likely to get around 5 heads. But if you flip 16 coins 10 times each, the majority of them should get about 5 heads, but one or two of them would be expected to score somewhere near the extremes.
@@Games_and_Music The mass is the most important atribute of the marble, it determines the solo events, however events where marbles can collide makes them total random. Sometimes while watching i lose the immersion for a moment and think about how we enjoy playing with physics.
Why does the qualifying have to be like this! I’ve waited a whole year to see my favorite team (The Limers) again. Now I won’t see them again until the middle of 2021. Shouldn’t the qualifying be done all at once. The showdown just means some teams are only seen once per year which is very sad.
@@edwin7788 The pre-qualification qualifiers, where the Limers can compete as a wildcard from being dead last in the ML qualifications and risk losing their rights to auto-qualify, in order to qualify to the qualifying again. Basically like football leagues, where there's the top tier of amateur clubs and semi-profs to make their way into the professional league.
Like Sclarter said, at least they're still in the Marbula One race, but it would've been nice to see more of them, they were the only favorite team of mine that didn't move on sadly, 3 other teams did though.
I think it should be like football leagues, there should be a league for the non quallifiers where they can also partake and gain promotion to the marble league if they do well

I think a big part of what makes these videos so enjoyable is that there aren't any bitter rivalries among or between any of the teams. For the most part, it's just all about the sport.

I worry that Prim's career is going to be ruined because of the management of their team. It's clear that they are the class of their region, but questionable decisions and poor race strategy keeps Prim from stocking an awards cabinet that should be full by now.
Imagine if Prim got traded to the Savage Speeders or The Orangers... how dominant would that team be?

I'm so heartbroken and disappointed. Team Snowballs needs a major roster overhaul, because current leadership is putting the melt on the team. It might be time for coach Blizzard to go and for captain Snowflake to retire from active competition. If these two can't set aside their egos, then I think Snowy should consider leaving the team and pursuing independent ventures, or maybe even starting their own team.

But, the snowballs or turtle sliders or jawbreakers will be crushed by teams like orangers or savage speeders or midnight wisps. I like your idea though. I think limers will still be able to do okay because of their experience. Today I felt that limelime wasnt fully fit.
Ok, why on earth is Snowflake the Snowballs' captain? He is clearly one of the slowest marbles on track, that was proven by Marbula One, and now also the Marble League Showdown. We are going to need to make some major changes in administration if this team is going to be competitive for the next season of Marbula One as well as Marble League 2022. I'm dissapointed that a team I've cheered so hard for has fallen so far since the early days at the University of Snoronto. I personally believe that Snowflake needs to be taken off of the team, or at least removed as captain. Blizzard, the coach certainly needs to step down after this performance. I was heartbroken when none of my favorite teams qualified for this year's league. Now I'm very happy to see the Jungle Jumpers an Kobalts in such a good shape. Clearly they are using their free time for in-depth training and will be ready to attack in '21.
So I think:
- The Turtle Sliders are young they just need some more experience in training I think they'll get there🐢♥️
- Snowballs, Make Snowy the captain AND let Snowy pick a whole new roster❄️♥️
- The limers need a complete teardown do the same thing I suggested for the snowballs except don't promote any of them in the captain 😬
- Last and least The Jawbreakers I'm sorry man but it's time to blow it up maybe merge with one of the lower/older teams like... Blackjacks?
Yeah, I also think Snowy should be captain... Snowy has been doing way better than Snowflake. Snowy got a huge amount of points in Marbula One, but Snowflake didn't. And also, because of Snowflake's bad run at the 5 - meter sprint (2020 qualifiers), the Snowflakes could qualify for the Marblelympics 2020... LET'S MAKE SNOWY CAPTAIN!!!
I feel like snowflake has a lot of history with the other snowballs so it might be hard to switch her out.

Idk about Turtle Sliders... this is already their second year. How much experience do they need? It's hard not to compare them with teams like Raspberry Racers or the Wisps, who each won the Marble League on their second year, or Green Ducks who got 2nd place on their debut year. Maybe they just aren't cut out for it.

I was always skeptical of RR's high performance last season and suspected some kind of performance enhancement. Seems like since the league has really come down hard on that this season they've been off their game.

Fantastic Showdown today! Full of excitement, surprise, and disappointment. Irrelevant of who won and who lost, this was absolutely amazing and intense to watch, and definitely massive thanks to the JMRC and JMR Staff for making such an incredible video possible and putting so much work into it! Who would have thought that in the midst of a Marble League, the Showdown would bring so much hype! I am eternally grateful for all you do, thanks forever!
The Jungle Jumpers were robbed in the qualifiers when Leap fell out of the funnel, earning just two consolation points and causing the Jumpers to fail to qualify in a 4-way tie. And look at their performance today: A gold, a silver, and a bronze, with a last place finish in-would you imagine-a funnel event, and with Leap playing no less.

agreed! I'm a hazers fan first and foremost but I'm proud of the jungle jumpers for proving how strong of a team they are despite being unfairly booted from this year's league
All they needed to do was land somewhere in the middle of the pack and they'd have won all the marbles, but a dead-last funnel slip got them goose-egg points in the third round and tanked their whole overall.

It's what makes this sport so compelling. The fact that some teams are consistently bad and some are consistently good makes it more interesting.
@CelPlayz_YT Yeah, i've thought about that a lot as well, similar to the Red 3 thing, where he was just performing too well in comparison to actual marbles.
It looks like the difference in weight has to be a factor for the consistent high results in most speed events.
Team Galactic usually floats somewhere in the middle of the ranking, which also makes me think that their weight is somewhere in the middle, as they seem to do well on dirt events, where it's nice to have some weight to get traction but not too much or too little, but they aren't that outstanding in high jumps or collisions, which could possibly prove it to be true. Or it might just be random.
Same for coatings, shiny coatings sorta seem to make them perform better underwater, or, again, it's just random and i just want to see a pattern in it.
@@Games_and_Music It's hard to know. Any differences should be super small, and with true random chance, you would expect the results to form a bell curve.
If you flip a coin 10 times, you're likely to get around 5 heads.
But if you flip 16 coins 10 times each, the majority of them should get about 5 heads, but one or two of them would be expected to score somewhere near the extremes.
@@Games_and_Music The mass is the most important atribute of the marble, it determines the solo events, however events where marbles can collide makes them total random. Sometimes while watching i lose the immersion for a moment and think about how we enjoy playing with physics.
Why does the qualifying have to be like this! I’ve waited a whole year to see my favorite team (The Limers) again. Now I won’t see them again until the middle of 2021. Shouldn’t the qualifying be done all at once. The showdown just means some teams are only seen once per year which is very sad.

@@edwin7788 The pre-qualification qualifiers, where the Limers can compete as a wildcard from being dead last in the ML qualifications and risk losing their rights to auto-qualify, in order to qualify to the qualifying again.
Basically like football leagues, where there's the top tier of amateur clubs and semi-profs to make their way into the professional league.
Like Sclarter said, at least they're still in the Marbula One race, but it would've been nice to see more of them, they were the only favorite team of mine that didn't move on sadly, 3 other teams did though.
I think it should be like football leagues, there should be a league for the non quallifiers where they can also partake and gain promotion to the marble league if they do well

Jumpers and Kobalts both made it so I can't complain!
I think a big part of what makes these videos so enjoyable is that there aren't any bitter rivalries among or between any of the teams. For the most part, it's just all about the sport.
I’d like to use this comment to appreciate the hard and wonderful work put out by the referees, security guards, and ball barrings. Their efforts have not gone unnoticed.
Nice to see Shining Swarm have a respectable showing--I fondly remember their multiple victory laps on the fidget spinners.

Surprising win from the Kobalts (my favourite from the start). After two rounds they were in 6th, so seeing them actually win was a nice surprise to say the least.
