I'm still waiting for Milwaukee-Talkies
Damn you, take your thumbs-up.
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
😂
🤣🤣👏🏽👏🏽
milwaukee walkie-talkies you mean.
Thank you so much for having me on the show guys, it was great to chat with you and discuss the boots. Apologies for the helmet joke… 😂
The blower when we were in Rome was said to run
80mins in Low
60mins in High
40mins on Boost.
Those times are obviously in metric.
@@MentalCatalyst 😂😂 I use both tbf
I love the Tool Show so much. Thanks for always keeping us up to date on all things tools. What really gives me the fizz is the exact part numbers that you read off on every tool. Never gets old!
Congrats on the 300th episode! Keep doing great things!
Rob: that a was different time!
😅😂
Hey Rob! I was actually at the hartville hardware store today for their tool expo and I talked to the Milwaukee guy about the blower. He said the runtime for 4 12 amp power batteries on high is about 40 minutes.
I appreciate you passing that on! But this time He's wrong. (I just heard from Milwaukee) High will get you 30 minutes. Med, 45mins. Low, 60mins. That's with (4) 12ah HO batteries. With (4) 8ah you'll get 20, 30 and 40 minutes respectively.
Was the show good? Sarah and I haven't been there in a few years.
No way
Just chewing through batteries like all the rest, about 10 minutes a battery
And how long till you cycle out those expensive batteries?@@Sicktrickintuner
Considering the batteries are rated at 2,000 cycles, recharged twice a day, (Milwaukee found that most pros feather the trigger during use and get FAR more time out of the charge) 5 days a week, 3 months a year for cleaning up leaves, that's 15.5 years. Lots of guys on the Milwaukee forums reporting M18 batteries with '08 and '09 serial numbers and still running great 15 years later. Hope this helps.
Still waiting for milwaukee to make an m18 roofing nailer!
The best part about impact wrenches being released is TTC doing testing on them
Good evening, ready for some new exciting tools !!
That look on Sarah’s face just before the interview……knowing full well that the helmet polishing reference was about to be said…..was pure gold! Love this channel!!!!
Haha, love it 😂
You could tell? >.> LOL
@@ToolShow I saw the smirk…..lol That’s the only explanation for that devious look. 🤣🤣🤣
And the Backpack Blower kit includes two rapid chargers , so they are free based on the tool only price, and battery prices.
I am going to try the wallet. Thanks for showing it
It’s funny how rigid is using a Milwaukee socket on those photos
You can now get the Milwaukee mower as a bare tool for $799.
Did not know that Brian! Thanks!
Another great episode!!! Thanks
As someone who just lost my wallet for a week, those Eksters look pretty tempting.
Believe it or not, AM/FM radio is still the largest audience out there, and it has been.
Miss Makita from past years wasnt holding the right Makita tool in the calender pages we were able to find and had nothing to do with how good of a job she did at being Miss Makita. That was merely a happy coincidence.
Thanks Rob!
Another great episode!!
Thanks Rob!
Those shoes look pretty dope though.
You guys pulled the Milwaukee shoes before, and just like last time, I feel like I've been cheated. Just like Black Packout, I guess we're not getting em.
I’m still waiting for the low profile handle for the rolling packout box
Hey yeah.... where the heck is that thing? I'll ask.
Great show as always you two crack me up as a big Milwaukee man I love my tools but I can’t wait to get my hands on there new boots here in the uk 🇬🇧 we have to wait l get so jealous of you guys in USA 🇺🇸 and you get the red packouts which I want but have to settle for the black 😢not that it’s not good but I still like the RED and you guys get good prices at Home Depot we only have B&Q yes they are big but no Milwaukee 😢keep up the good work guys and stay safe 😊👍👏👏
I think we will see the boots here in the U.K. before the states, hopefully….
G’day, I still can’t fathom why these larger yard items aren’t running MX? Big blower, mower, yard tractor, all seem perfect for the MX? Thoughts guys?
MX is big and expensive. You're not likely to buy it for just one job (like a mower) unless you have a whole system to take advantage of that big battery. So they started with a Concrete focused system. So you'll invest in an MX core drill, because you know you'll also be getting that tower light for working concrete at night, and the saw for making long cuts.
Could MX be used for landscaping? Sure, but they'll have to launch a line with 4-6 tools all at once to make it worth the investment.
$1,400 for the blower and four batteries I can go buy a gas blower for $500 and have $900 left over for fuel costs 🤣🤣🤣
Each one of those 12ah batteries retail in Canada for $500 too
And it only put out 155 mph what a joke🤣🤣
The only thing I care about.. are the Milwaukee boots packout compatible?...
LOL GOOD question!
Yes they are, you can now park yourself on top your packout when you’re tired 😂
Great job on the video yall too are hilarious
Thanks Nathan!
Release date on Milwaukee boots?
No word yet on if the US will ever see them. No idea about a release date for the EU.
@@ToolShowI’ve been wanting BOA work shoes for forever, ugh bring them to us
I'm still waiting on the MX line of OPE, instead of the M18 powered tools. It just makes more sense for a pro level tool.
Sarah meets one British guy and all of a sudden it's aluminEEum.
So where do the batteries go in the Milwaukee shoes? I assume they’re M12.
(Joking, obviously. Although you could probably make some M18 Fuel disco platform shoes with the big boys.)
Or they could pop out some wheels and tear me across the jobsite!
Milwaukee boots in AZ maybe soon??
Nice Vid!
Thanks Mac!
18 × 2 should be m36. of course theres am fm where you think music comes from.
😂😂😂😂😂 after searching 15 frantic minutes for my wallet last week i found it in... the trash can 😂😂😂😂😂
BRO.... The struggle is REAL!
Release date on Milwaukee shoes ?
Not announced here in the states.... yet.
I'm just very much so surprised that Milwaukee still doesn't have nor have they come out with a M18 or a m12 cordless paint spray gun and still no Milwaukee 16 inch long combination hand square yet then:(.
The spray gun will never happen.
@@ToolShow why do you think and say that the cordless paint spray gun will never happened?
Because I've talked with several brands (Including Milwaukee, RYOBI, SKIL, DeWALT, etc.) about it. (I want one) There's a reason none of them sell one. (Several tried) A spray gun is extremely dependent on proper maintenance.
You have to be very careful using it, and you have to be VERY thorough cleaning it up afterwards. As it turns out, spray guns have a HUGE return rate due to people buying them, not using them correctly, and then plugging them up. They might work, but they work once.
They can't seem to make one that's maintenance proof. Based on the stories I've been told, I can't understand how any company makes a sprayer and stays profitable. That might explain why Graco guns are so expensive. They have to factor in returns. I'd love to hear from a Home Depot employee on the subject, to see if they get a lot of returns.
Milwaukee m12 watch coming out soon
That'll get caught on things. :)
Know what other Milwaukee tool has four active battery slots??...(the blower isn't the first)...
I wouldn't call the carry-on a "tool", but I see why others might. It's an inverter that allows you to power other tools. But still... this is the first power tool that can use 4 batteries like that. I literally asked Milwaukee to be sure. But if you've got something they forgot, I'd love to hear it!
What about the Milwaukee impact for 1400
We covered it at Pipeline! Both LIVE and regular edition. Matter of fact, it was TTC who was in our LIVE chat, that pointed out the impacts and told me to cover them.
OK for that four battery Milwaukee, backpack blower don’t buy Milwaukee 12.0 batteries for literally a quarter of the price by Hercules 12 amp hour batteries and running an adapter. They’re the exact same battery and you can get literally 12 batteries for the cost of four if not more
I'm not a big fan of using anything but proper branded batteries on power tools, but especially when you're using a tool that pulls a lot of amps. That's when you're risking fires. If a Hercules battery can manage the pull and cut it self off when it gets too hot, maybe it's something I should consider. You're got me thinking Matt.
That is definitely a possibility with any batteries, but the Hercules 12 amp power batteries have the same Samsung battery cells as a Milwaukee 12.0 and in different torque test channel videos, they have tested them and they seem to do just as well as the Milwaukee batteries and you can get them for about $80 apiece
I’m in for the Boa shoes if they make a non steel toe shoe.
I'm hoping for a composite toe myself. But those BOA lace systems are CARZY addictive. I wear my motorcycle boots often even when I'm not riding, just because they lace up in 3 seconds. :)
@@ToolShow I want them for motorcycle riding 😂
I've resigned myself to Saturday morning Tool Show... I just can't focus on RUclips while watching Gold mining on cable.
🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Fair. :)
How good are RIDGID tools ?
The specs on that blower aren't even remotely close to the Ego Commercial series (800cfm at 190mph), and 4 batteries? Their 18v based OPE is fine for homeowners with smaller lots, but they are grasping at straws if they think that thing is competitive in the commercial market.
Yeah also they weigh almost the same with batteries and the ego has a lot longer run time
The Greenworks Pro backpack blower is 824cfm and 151mph.
wow half your video was your wallet ad
Yeah sorry if that bugged you. I didn't intend to talk about them so long, but I was just excited to show them off. I really do love my wallet, and talk about it often. :) Drives Sarah nuts.
My Ridgid Octane High torque impact had more torque than that. Ridgid went backwards over the last few years.
If I recall correctly, back in May of 2020, Ridgid released R86221B 18V Octane High-Torque Impact Wrench.
Max Loosening Torque: 1,500 ft-lbs
Max Fastening Torque: 1,100 ft-lbs
Of course, those numbers were only attainable with, at the time, its newest Octane batteries. The preferred battery was Octane 3Ah, since it featured 21700 battery cells.
And here's the best part. At the time, R86221B was beating the best 1/2" impacts from Milwaukee at a lot lower price point. So, it got yanked off the market and then subsequently replaced by lower spec'ed R86212 (1,300 ft./lbs. Breakaway Torque and 900 ft./lbs. Fastening Torque), which, coincidentally, is the same spec on its latest 3/4" impact.
A lot of tool people have speculated that the head honchos at Techtronic Industries (TTI Group) didn't not like their mid-tier brand tool (Ridgid) besting their pro (Milwaukee) line. So, 4 years later, there's still no new impact from Ridgid that can beat it.
Heh. Very lame TTI. 👎👎👎
@@josiptrograncic292 Same thing with their Octane Hammer drill. It best the Milwaukee Hammer drill and was later scraped. The newer hammer drill is much weaker.
Can’t afford the battery 🪫 price. To replace every 2 years lol. Crazy. Unless you do yard work for living. N charge big money 😮
Many of our Milwaukee M18 users have 15-year-old batteries that are still going strong. What politician told you that batteries only last 2 years?
@@ToolShow well I hope my big 12 amp last that long. But ya more for the pro . . ?
@@lodwill5116 Oh for sure it's for the pro. That's why they went so far into performance instead of runtime. The pros want the blower that hits peak speed in less than a second... at least that's what Milwaukee tells us. :)
i literally lost my wallet about 2 hours ago with 500 bucks cash in it..... frustrated beyond comprehension right now, sat down opened up youtube and heres this nifty wallet segment, didnt make me feel better lol
Sarah wants to know if you checked your trashcan?
@@ToolShow tell her i said thanks for the suggestion lol, and yes, all of them, i also drove back to my work and checked the cans there too, no luck. 😮💨 ah well, it is what it is.
Noooo! That sucks Ma77rik! Really hope you find it bud!
@@ToolShow thanks guys, i think i will be checking out that tracker wallet after this fiasco
Sir can you able to give me any drill machine,i will be so thankful for your kindness
Please any drill machine your choice 🙏🥺
Thank you
💩🤡🤣
Long winded ad😴
Yeah sorry about that D. I didn't realize how long I was talking about them. I really do love my wallet. I've always used $10 junk wallets from Khol's until I got my first Ekster. I love the thing, and was excited to be able to promote something I'm so passionate about. I'll shrink it down next time.
At least when you order boots or shoes from Milwaukee you get them unlike Trump's gold shoes you don't get the shoes or the refund back you might get lucky and get a empty shoe box
