In my training we use this attack to break the Ox by swinging to the middle of the opponent's blade, by the side in wich he cannot use my strenght to spin his sword, i know its a lame description with no image but just try to picture it, its pretty effective.

At the HEMA club I used to go to, Ottawa Historical Fencing Society, we used a different interpretation of the Krumphau, and the instructor gave multiple very good reasons why he disagrees with this interpretation.
Here's a link to a video below where our instructor shows our interpretation and also demonstrates some of the problems with this interpretation: ruclips.net/video/hfaWOeJiFXg/видео.html
If you don't like using links and URLs, then search "Ottawa Historical Fencing Society" and/or "Sigmund Ringeck Krumphau Part 1" on RUclips and you should find it.

That's not a Krump, it's an Unterzwerch on one side and hanging parry on the other. Krumphau is clearly stated to land on the sword from above. One of it's continuations (in Ringeck specifically) asks for you to "So tu° alß ob du mitt dem krumphaw° an sin schwert wöllest binden Vnnd kurcz vnd far mitt dem ort vnde", go with the point below, which means the krump is delivered above the opponent's sword.

That interpretations simply doesn't fit the text. And the audio is shitty and the explanations can't be heard

May I ask why vom tag is held so close to the face like that? I've never seen it done in such a manner before. I've seen it resting on the shoulder or held above the head, but not touching the side of the face.
Is that not inferior to the method in which it is held above the head? It seems like having it up high provides better structure and cutting power.

2:22 No; you can't do whatever you want, as he could have followed crown with a Schilhau you would not have been able to protect yourself against.

1:20 if you hit too hard can't they use the momentum to attack you faster than your cut, also go for the hands not the sword if you can

Which source states that the krump is used to cut the hands?

Hello folks, i really like watching your video and they are realy nice... but from my perspective (as a Liechtenauer follower) i would disagre with your interpretation of the Krumphau. Could you please explain how you got to your Krumphau? Which manuscripts do you use?

We used Pseudo-Peter Von Danzig's long sword gloss.

At the HEMA club I go to, Armoured Company of the Sword, we use a different interpretation of the Krumphau. The Krumphau is explicitly stated to be able to defeat an opponent in Ox guard, but the picture clearly shows the attackers sword under the sword in Ox Guard, not over it like HEMA @ VCU is showing.
Here's a link to Armoured Company of the Sword's video, where the instructor explains it better than I can:

What your video shows there is what is, to the best of my knowledge, referred to as the Kurtzhauw (Short Cut) by most other treatises. Meyer would state that it's a derivative cut from Krumphauw and is generally not something done on purpose, but rather infers that it's creating an advantageous position from a failed cut.

The one you linked. I'm not sure of your source, so I can't really compare. What manuscript do you guys use?
