Regarding weapon blessing/stats/perks, rending is armor penetration, cleave is ability for the weapon to hit more targets in a single swing, finesse damage is extra damage applied to weakpoint/headshot hits, strength is extra damage and bleed is a damage over time effect

The Flamer fires a continuous stream when aimed/braced, some other weapons also behave differently when aimed like boltgun which switches between automatic hipfire and semiauto aimed modes

About the new elites you're seeing (big carapace armored boys): Welcome to slightly higher difficulties. There's a few more enemy types you haven't seen yet. Don't try and block their big overheads! You'll get absolutely crushed. You need to dodge those. Light attacks against carapace armor doesn't really do anything, you need to heavy attack them.
13:30 - Freeing somebody from a trapper's net is fast. They weren't downed, just trapped.
    15:32 - Lol, nice.
17:40 - That absolutely wasn't a wasted charge. On top of movement, it also refills your toughness (the blue bar above your health, basically a shield) and gives you a damage amp. It's perfectly reasonable to just hit charge whenever you feel like you're under pressure.
20:10 - That's incense :) In the warhammer universe, they believe that in order to make sure your guns don't jam and work properly, you need to pray to your weapon. Also works the same for any other technology.
21:50 - Yeah, sure. You're gonna be swimming in the in-game money in short order, so it's perfectly fine to use it on anything that looks even mildly interesting. Plasteel and diamantine are the crafting materials, those are gonna be much tighter and you're gonna need to budget that carefully at the start. That's why you kinda want to avoid spending it until later.
23:40 - All the tracks are melee based xD It's hard to make a bad zealot build. Generally speaking, left is crit chance, charging and straight up brawling, middle is a bit more supporty ability & bonuses for being at lower health (kinda berzerker style), and right is invisibility & stealthy backstabby rogue stuff. As a general rule of thumb, survivability comes from toughness. Anything that gives toughness regen is probably pretty great.
26:00 - You wanna block-push poxbursters away from you and dodge backwards. That's the safest way of dealing with them,
28:40 - Sorta? There's a lot of possible spawns, and it randomly chooses 4 of the possible ones. They won't be in exactly the same place, but you do eventually get a feel for where they're possibly going to be.
30:20 - That's a respawn point. If someone dies, they'll respawn at the next respawn point in the level.
31:20 - Successful dodge is any attack started on you that misses due to a dodge. Also, there's a distinct sound que for getting hit in the back (a whooshing sound). You'll get to a point where your muscle memory dodges you automatically anytime you hear it :) Also, about the "lunges", melee attacks are tracking. If they start it, they WILL hit you unless you dodge or block.
35:10 - Most groups just avoid getting grimoires entirely as they're added difficulty. If someone has a grimoire, it'll passively corrupt your health over time.

It's so wholesome to see new people discover what has been my joy for decades now. Been in love with WH40K and WH-Fantasy from the very beginning. Watched the entire thing grow into what it is today. I love Darktide so much and I am loving your gameplay. You're so fun to watch and hope you continue enjoying your journey fighting in the name of the Emperor.

Great to see you improving so fast! A lot of people played Vermintide 2 before darktide which has mostly the same game mechanics. Quick tip: if you're carrying a power cell, constantly sliding while sprinting is a lot faster and also dodges ranged attacks.

Revolver is my go to. You whip it out, headshot a bomber or trapper, and go back to melee.
Also good on shotgunners and ragers, snipers, or interrupting a mauler that's about to smush a teammate into the ground. Good ammo efficiency, if you can get headshots. slow reload, but you get used to it.

6:57 getting hit like that in Difficulty 5 would have probably downed you, main changes with difficulties is that there are more poxwalkers and more specialists enemies and you get punished harder for getting hit, enemy health does go up also but your own weapons also get stronger in a manner that counteracts that from my own experience

Practice dodge-slides, where you time a slide with a heavy attack (or just slide), which will help massively to counter the heavy stuff like crushers and maulers, and also dodge suppression so you can close the distance to SMASH THEIR FACES IN.
Plus it makes you look cool. No weak softy sword twirling, no lame bang-bang, you go in with big heavy attacks and a big two-handed weapon, and drop their asses on the floor.
Cruxis, Thunder Hammer, two-handed maul, evicerator, two-handed power sword, they all good, I like the Cruxis, playing bowling with hordes and bonking the big boys.
Heavy attack and timed slides, that's the secret sauce for tackling higher difficulty for zealots, and others, and it's a lot of fun. But you can practice the mechanics and timing at lower level, until it becomes natural. Then Auric is just heresy but more fun more of the time.

You dont really have to look for the heretical idols and such, because they make a sound - its kinda hard to describe it, but it sounds like a steam leaking, or something like that :)
They also can only spawn in set places, but there are more spawn locations than just 4 per level and the game randomizes between these locations.
