As a non Texan who has a passion for grasslands, I gotta say I love this series.

Pumping floodwaters from the Dallas area to the Highplain region could help recharge aquifers. And adding fairy shrimps along with mudbugs to playa lakes could also improve the ecosystem.

Jobs, production and employment in the USA, increased cash bank reserves, expansion rates at the Federal Reserve auctions, a Texas State Income Tax Office and integrated government regulations of energy production takes the burden off of the private land owners and restores responsible management of the huge land areas to the states and the Department of the Interior ecoconservation departments. No one sees any great increase in food farms to supply the human population while huge land areas are used by profiteers to stuff their pockets and push conservation off onto moms and pops.

Im all for the crops and oil drilling. The high plains of Texas are dozens of millions of acres we use very little of it. The animals get the rest and the most. Im very animal rights but i dont see a huge issue on this one. Plus the crops and oil are great we are self sustaining! We will become our own country when america drowns completely in debt and better yet we have access to the gulf and theres your seafood and more oil. We are the perfect state!

We have very little public land compared to other states, and we have an invasive species problem.
