Love this guy, it really takes guts to do what he, his wife Anya, Aaron Mate and the other guys are doing, the political climate in the US is extremely oppressive and uniform on the question of Palestine, which puts massive pressure on these guys, but they don't give up and choose to stay with what is right... huge respect.

Am proud to say that I am the recipient of a deportation form from Israel, when they detained, intimidated, interrogated me for hours and then refused me entry in Ben Gurion 2018 for my activism - I framed the deportation form and it hangs on my wall. As so many times when the issue of Palestine and the Palestinian people's plight comes up I was once again moved to tears by Max's accounts of events in occupied Palestine and to people he knew and admired. This is a struggle that must not wain, peoples eyes and hearts must continue to be opened in order that Palestine may survive and hopefully, one day, thrive. Thank you Max and thank you to all the brave students and others keeping this struggle alive.
One underrated characteristic of Max that I love isn't his integrity, his passion, his journalism, or even his humanity, but his sense of humor. His deadpan jokes and wry sense of humor make his message even more powerful. Keep up the great work!
