Nice to see this bike been customized around the world! I'm close to get one by this weekend. You got a subscribe from Brazil! Hope you keep updating you modifications on the bike!
The engine is actually a Suzuki 650,hyosung made them for Suzuki and the carbs are mikuni Japanese, the decine is by hyosung and it looks like a little HD Vrod, I own one and love the ride.
Interested to see how this goes, as I have the GV700, which is the Classic version of this bike. Was going to ask to buy the windscreen until you took the spacers out.
DazTheJazz dang of course lol I just assumed nobody would ever want to buy it lol . It’s going to be a really cool finished product I think you will really enjoy it ! Please subscribe and thank you for watching !
Just wondering what you did with the rear fender and sissy bar? I just bought an 09 EFI GV650 and I'm looking for fall back parts to chop it. Awesome job on your build, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next brother.
i often wonder why you use the titles " cafe racers",they look nothing like cafe racers, they never will with that steering head rake and looong chassis..first roundabout you come across will wipe you out. would suggest go look at some 1950's pictures of cafe racers,we called them that as thats what we did with them,we took our normal triumphs n bsa's etc and made them into short burst tonup bikes.. a blindman can see those gv650's have completely the wrong rake, length and centre of gravity ffs.itll wobble about like a granny on pension day ffs.better off triking it,or taking the motor out and putting it into a supermoto etc frame.
Late to the party as I've only just seen this video. You'll be surprised by how nimble these GVs are. Definitely never gonna be a cafe racer style bike, but another bike chopped and fiddled with is another piece of expressive engineering on the roads. The more the merrier I say.
3 Years Later ...🧐
& still waiting on
PART 2 🙄
That was a great bike to work on.. It has good specs like broad tyres, high bhp, dohc and looks really good.. 👍
