My mum, my sisters, my aunts and uncles, my niece, my cousins and nephews, my dad and his wife got it! I mean everybody!!!! Haven't lost anyone yet, thank goodness, but it put the kibosh on any celebration! Glad you have remained so positive and cheerful! Hope this year is better than the last!
i also tested positive for covid (on christmas eve), spent my christmas isolating in my room on facetime to family, so i definitely sympathise! but we all made the best of it, so that's what counts :) happy 2022 guys
My sister in law and three of her family had Covid over Christmas in England, I am in Canada and my son came a week before Christmas and brought it with him. So he spent 10 days in the basement with us bringing meals to the stairway and doing facetimes with him, and us having to quarantine with him. So many people had it over Christmas. It is a Christmas that years from now you will tell your kids about!
the snow has to be wetter to actually build a snowman! It doesn't really work when it's too cold outside. When it is a bit warmer, the snow gets wetter and you can build an actual snowman that holds still too! You had too cold weather as the snow looks like it's a powder that doesn't stick together.
You guys always make the best of a bad situation. I week before Xmas my cousin was killed in a motorbike accident and due to COVID my only child has been stuck on the other side of Australia for the past 3 Xmas’s. It sucks but I’m so grateful for the positive things in life. I miss her so much and just know our borders have been shut even further if that’s at all possible. You know you can download the mirror imaging app and have whatever is on your computer/iPad/phone etc mirrored to your tv? That’s what I do. No cords needed. 😬 I know how your feeling. My ENTIRE family had Covid on Christmas a year ago. My boys, ex husband and his wife and grandparents, all of us. So we all had to have Christmas apart. 😕Get well soon.
Me and my fiancé got engaged on the 19th of December . He caught covid the day before xmas eve and I caught it boxing day so at least we were both isolating together. But the downside was we weren't able to celebrate anything with anybody. :(
