I am not. It just doesn't seem like something that would go in the game. Especially the way it was implemented in the mod where it takes an hour to form. Don't get me wrong I love all the story mode games and I would love to see it in the game, even as an Easter egg that in creative if you type in a certain command it will spawn, but I think it is way to destructive like it is basically save file deleting in the story mode games and even though the wither is destructive it isn't half as destructive as this.
I love how Minecraft story mod is getting more love after going so quiet I personally loved story mode both seasons

I've been a bit obsessed with this mod over the past few days. I was actually just messing with it in survival, got to phase 4 and was running for my life in terror when my frames kinda started to die on me. Not sure why considering I tested every phase in creative and it seemed to run fine, but oh well. Absolutely terrifying, I love it. I was excited to see this video! This mod is awesome and I'm loving seeing it get attention. Also BERTHA

did you have to stay nearby it for it to progress in stages? i tested it in a world, and ran away after summoning it, and never saw it far in the distance progress any stages
@@Emeraldog No, I ran away as well and it definitely evolved while it was far from me. I saw its tractor beam when I looked back after it hit stage three, and it made a sound when it hit stage four. I'm not sure what might've been going on if yours wasn't evolving.
@@EndermanW1tchblade i ran (or boated) about 3k blocks away before i ever saw it hit stage 2, so maybe i just didn’t wait long enough

This addon is great. They should remake other Minecraft story mode mobs like prismarine colossus or that titan enderman thing that would be cool.

Me and some friends are working on a mod that adds almost everything from story mode to minecraft (except the wither storm because this mod already did it) we even have nonamecrackers2 helping us, so far we have the creeder, icy spider, eversource, black wolf, red slime, and two in progress structures. @@dreamfan6841 well thats a lie because it regenerates every 10 seconds and takes 50 seconds to even fully spawn so.....
Agreed, only thing I would change is have that house spawn somewhere random within like 15 million blocks from spawn, then some way to find maps to it, maybe villager trades or loot
The only problem I have with this mod is how long the phases are, especially transitioning into phase 5. other than that this mod is outstanding!
I think that's intentional to give you time to prepare or whatever, assuming you activate it at the start of your game and then spend the next hour or so getting everything ready to beat it. Would definitely at least make for a cool RUclips video. That, or it's to be sorta realistic to the original Story Mode game where it takes ages for it to become huge.

there is a command to change its stage /witherstormmod phase set @e[type=witherstormmod:wither_storm,limit=1] 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7
While I get why this won¨t ever be officialy added, imagine how cool it would be. You join a server then spawn this creature.
And thats why exactly it is not added.
Those people who go after P2W servers would love to have a weapon like this if it wasn't so easy for a moderator to just delete it. Just join the server, somehow get the materials, scream "Nothing built can last forever" in chat, and leave the suckers and the likely corrupt staff to their fate.

@@masterwizardwither7444 yes you are right. But it could be a problem for small servers that contaim big projects and subject to prankster friends. Like the one I made to build a roller coaster that goes faster than to 500 kph with command blocks.
I remember playing minecraft story mode when I was younger I was speechless when I saw the wither storm. I think it’s so cool someone made a mod out of it.

As I am kinda a minecraft story mode nerd 🤓 I was amazed to see all of the references to minecraft story mode in this mod. Everything from the formidibomb to the command block boss fight, it is so cool 🤓🤓🤓

The wither storm would be cool for Minecraft but imagine fighting it on a low end device with 5 chunk render distance. You wouldn’t be able to see it!
This would be so fun to fight in real Minecraft cause the wither storm was so popular cause of Story Mode. I hope they could add this to a future update.

@@jacobsantana915 not everyone’s trying to do that. One problem I see with everyone is just make it so you can disable it. It’s too big of a feature that’s the equivalent of disabling the ends completely. That’s just too much constant cut. It’s better for it to stay as a mod it wouldn’t even make sense if it was in the actual game
YES. I also just recently got back into my obsession with the Wither Storm, so I am super excited!
Wattles is the perfect British chef's kiss for Minecraft. His humor and content is impeccable.
Like I go with, they added the amulet, which would make the weather storm overall drift to your location, rather than directly tracking you down, and maybe even ways to link multiple to have it either on a priority or distance type thing

Potential strategy:
1. Find the house at 0,0
2. go at least 500 blocks away, and set up your base there, with a bed and everything (I would highly suggest deep underground, with an easy and fast way up and down it)
3. get fully geared up; get as many of those golden apple stews as needed, at least diamond enchanted armor (netherite-enchanted works too), a power IV-V, Flame, Infinity bow (unbreaking if possible), and a bunch of food
4. Spawn the wither storm
5. Wait until the wither storm starts spawning the mini bosses, and then take them out for the command books
*at this stage, you are going to die. That's alright, because you have set your spawn at your base hundreds if not thousands of blocks away. Just keep going back until you complete your goals*
6. Make the F bomb, and just straight up kill the wither storm.
7. Wait for the wither storm to respawn
8. Now wait for the wither storm to reach its final stage, and go through the portal that spawns
WARNING: at stage 4 (possibly even earlier), the wither storm will be able to detect and follow you, so I highly recommend that you get as far away from your base as possible

Lmao i saw this mod like 2 months ago and freaked out. It gives the wither storm what it deserves.
This is a Minecraft-sized update that should come to the game. I would love to see a boss like this come to the game. Maybe a stranger things & Minecraft crossover. This mod gets me thinking about why we don’t have the mind flayer in Minecraft yet.

What if you use a full toolbar with fully enchanted crossbows loaded with harming arrows on an early stage. Won't that be enough to kill it? Or maybe even more crossbows :)
since the wither is considered as an undead mob, this most definitely is too
so, harming arrows would just heal it, you will have to use healing arrows
Nah, it has twice the health of the standard wither + regens 5 hearts a second

It would be really cool if the wither storm was added to the vannila game, but besides being very powerful it could crash your map (even though it's in another dimension) the wither storm can Until it was added in the Minecraft universe but in Minecraft dungeons or legends.
One problem with adding things that were already established. Is you kinda need to add a good reason and I highly doubt they would do it regardless just because Minecraft story mode was official.

I was obsessed with the wither storm when I was like in 2ns grade and I couldn't get past chapter 1 of story mode because it costed money, and I reamer I watched on RUclips and the bomb wasn't enough. I forgot that the storm respawns sort of.

More Phase Info:
Wither got actually a bit more phases that are half phases, wich is 2.5 5.5 and 7.5
2.5 is basicly wither storm 2nd phase but with 1 head converted to new treactor beam face.
5.5 phase is like 5th phase but the head is a lot bigger and now having small block pulsation.
7.5 phase is 7th phase but with pulsing blocks like at 5.5 and with hole upper head.
Notice: Hole can open itself or can be opened if player already got any command block tool, after it (look in config file) after some time it will open auto.
Also using F-Bomb on stage 4 or lower will just slow it down becouse after revive it wont convert into stage 6 wither.
Also if you wont come too close to command block while wither laying on ground bc of F-explosion, then after 60 minutes (defult but can be changed in config) it will auto review.
Also wither grows not by time but by consumed entitis.

Most of the storm isn't meant to be waiting your meant to start the wither storm when you start your world/server and gather tools to eventually take out the wither storm while trying not to die

13:38 No, it didn't get larger, it's just because you didn't wait for stage 6 to blow up the Witherstorm, and you're supposed to wait for stage 6, so that's why it looked like it was bigger, because you blew it up too soon.

You blew the wither storm up with the F bomb at the wrong phase, You have to blow it up at phase 6.

im trying in hardcore rn, on third attempt. you legit have to run no time to grind. basically you run at least like 10000 blocks away then start mining. its stupidly fast and early game is best time to escape
