  • Today we will work on "Gavotte" by Jean-Baptiste Lully from Suzuki Cello Book 3. In this tutorial, I will play the piece with piano accompaniment in fast and solo cello part in slow tempo to help you master this beautiful composition. I'll begin with a cello and piano performance in a fast tempo to give you a sense of the overall flow and character of the piece. Then, you will hear me play in a slower tempo, paying close attention to specific techniques and musical nuances that are essential for an accurate and expressive performance.
Whether you have a cello teacher or not, preparing for a recital, an exam, or just want to improve your playing, this tutorial will provide valuable insights and practice tips. Don't forget to leave your comments and let me know if this tutorial helps you. Subscribe to Cellopedia for more cello tutorials and performances. Happy practicing!
