Your channel inspire us to garden. We started last year, we live in Chicago south side, no one gardens. We actually have neighbors asking for gardening advice. I know nothing. Lol 😆

2:08 for Scholastic Integrity, would it be a deal-breaker if your cucumber where to start yellowing on the countertop and the hope of saving seed? Is Vine ripe in a the preferred method or the only viable method? Not that I actually did leave is a cucumber on the counter in hopes harvesting the seeds, of course. There's no way that I would ever do that. I was just wondering, for Scholastic integrity.

Thats a good question. We've always left them on the vine just to make sure that the seeds are mature and fully developed for seed saving. If someone(👀) were to leave a cucumber on the countertop until it yellowed, just cut it open to seed if the seeds a fully developed enough to dry off and save whenever you I mean they think it's ready.

What if the cucumber came off the vine before it started to turn yellow? Is there any way to harvest those seeds?

I just did this with tomato seeds, what would happen if I just skipped the formation process n washed the seeds n dried them? Or do I have to do the same thing as u do in order for them to be good seeds for nxt year?

Do the seeds stick to the napkin? Just wondering. Great video😃😃😃

They will stick a little bit just gently scrape and they’ll come up. If you scrape too hard they’ll go flying. I prefer paper towels to paper plates.

Once you have gone thru the process of fermenting the pulp from them, they do not stick very much if at all. You could always use a paper plate if you want. Happy gardening
