I also recommend people with enough vram to take a look at CEB's 4D humans. It does have a free version, and It captures higher detail in my testing than rokoko, and it works completely offline too. However I also need to mention that on some computers it refused to even start, for some reason.

The proper “multiple-iPhone move ai” product is totally different, and is now $500 per month. (!!!!)
I don't expect free apps to be as good as paid/professional ones, but it looks GREAT. Main movements can be captured, and leave some refinements to be made by the animator. That is already a sanity-saver.

This doesn't work people for fat people. It gets confused if you're standing straight or leaning forward because if the belly. So you end up with a motion where the body shifts back and forth constantly.
rokoko means you upload your video to their servers (and they can, and WILL, use it for training == abusing your copyright). I would never trust a cloud service for these things, NEVER.. too much risk
folks in comments : do NOT use these scams that aim to make you believe that you will have the same quality as in the studio with professional equipment. 90 minutes in a real studio will be enough to take your own captures flawlessly (at least you will waste much less time retouching!!). Be realistic... The real things have to be paid for. But it's better to bank for professional tools than to fiddle hours and weeks with trickeries... courage
