Which is absurd because Our Lord is very clear on the appropriate relationship between Christians and the 🇮🇱ish people. They’re not to be hated and persecuted, but their sins must be remembered and made known. They are not to be elevated, nor are they to be treated as if they have some unique covenant. They’re under the same law as everyone else. That being accept Christ or lose eternity.
It’s possible his “love for Israel” comes from his evangelical background where he thought the third temple has to be built to bring in Jesus’s second coming. I don’t love Israel’s government, but I do love the holy land and that’s why I contribute to the holy land collection during holy week. I want to protect those shrines so they are still there in a few hundred years.
