Looked like a fan animation and Jack got nerfed unreasonably hard.
So did the Kenyan asura characters . The manga for that anime has them even more powerful when with Baki they already adapted bakis more powerful arcs.

Bruhhh Baki literally had gone toe to toe with Yujiro prior to this crossover and we just got a draw with Ohma, and I think it's just giving respect between the writers because we knew Ohma ain't doing shit to Baki.

Jack may have lost which disappoints me. But at least the fight was much closer. It wasn’t completely a one sided massacre. Jack bit good chunks off from Raian. Also gave him a couple of good punches and kicks. Hopefully Jack gets his revenge next movie. But it sucks that Jack keeps taking L’s. The disrespect has to stop.

My dude, it's fucking FICTION, no shit it was scripted from the beginning! It's a crossover designed to hype both series, everyone's going to get to look good and the results of the fights are arbitrary. I could get upset that my favorite character, Saw Paing, was written to literally headbutt Hanayama's fist repeatedly until he knocked himself out, even though the Hammer of Burma was always intended to target the opponent's head, but i recognize that this crossover has no bearing on the canon of either series, so I just move on.

Real fighting rules at least if you're on the ground not getting up within ten seconds unconscious or not then clearly you clearly can't fight any longer and you lose but the rules here clearly were flavoring the kengan fighters.
We know Baki characters do not go down or stay down so easily.
Do none of you guys remember how Jack was on the ground for a whole 20 seconds in the first half of the fight when Raian was mocking him? Or y'all just being stupid. They called the match when Jack lost consciousness cause they were gonna end up killing each other. On top of that Raian could have killed him easily just by snapping his neck once he lost consciousness. If anything it was really out of character for Raian just to let go of Jack's neck instead of tryna snap it. Jack lost fair and square the writers of the series have decided that.
in the second match they were looking for a chance to end it the earliest possibile because it was a super gore Bloodshed while in the First fight everyone was chill

Even though they should prioritise Jsck since Baki Rahan shows him as the protagonist getting stronger, it was s close fight though. My only complaint is the lack of movement and overall stuff. Felt like the 2 just stood on the same place during the entire fight.

My main issue with this fight is that, instead of throwing his signature uppercut, which he was in a perfect position to unleash, Jack got up and retaliated with hanayama's overhand right. This aggravates me beyond reason, it's just plain wrong, especially since it was shown in a "oooo he did the thing" way
hanayama's vice grip made sense but jack's maxing out power up felt like bs and a lot cheaper here than in the maximum tournament. I'm not mad about the outcomes. Idk why people expect accurate powerscaling in a damn crossover. it would also be a draw in a fight between naruto, ichigo and luffy if naruto, bleach and one piece had a crossover special and this is the case right here. what I'm disappointed at is the animation quality.

The thing is, if Jack and Raian had a draw as well Kengan would lose since Ohma and Baki will obviously have a draw. The only way for Kengan not to lose if Jack and Raian drew is if Baki pulled something similar to Yujiro before he fought the Grand Kiohin saying that if he didn’t win their first victory wouldn’t count

Jack and raian: sharing the same height which it's impossible
Ohma: being kind and calm like baki
Jack got disrespected so hard , all that effort even when his body adapted to massive amounts of drugs, they make a small capsule of drugs to cause him to go skinny and not even give him a boost of any kind is just wild, I know I shouldn't be invested in the character but oh my god the amount of times he's just been beaten is just dumb, hopefully he unlocks the demon or something similar cause he needs a boost for real

It's clear that they nerfed the Baki verse a lot. It would be better if they had packed the Kengan characters further into the story and manga then you wouldn't notice it so much with the nerfing and scaling

ok lets say lets compare both character on their latest appearance on both mangas , jack with his new martial art (biting) with silver fangs and bigger size, vs raian with sword and mastery with balance control, pretty sure raian can speedblitz him using his sword if he wanted to, but knowing the baki bullshit logic jack would probably stop the sword using his fangs , and knowing raian’s ego and arrogance he would fight jack in base form testing his strenght until he gets bitten a bunch of time and decided to use removal then it would a fair bloody match unless raian use kure techniques combined with sword then raian would probably win it will be a close fight though

Two things 1. they were gonna kill each other so they had to call it. 2. It's really out of character for Raian to let go of Jack's neck once he lost consciousness consider Raian snaps people's necks for fun.

I’m okay with suspending certain aspects of logic, but not power scaling. Ohma should not be able to even MOVE pickle. Kengan universe got some major plot armor.
I'm a Jack Hanma fan myself, but it's not Raian's fault Jack does not have submission defense. He may be superior in strength, but if he is not smart enough to negate a simple choke by controlling Raian's arm with an overhook, it's his own fault for losing.

I’ve been following Baki since before Kengan was a thing and honestly I think raian would actually beat jack. Jacks the weakest hanma and raian is debatably the strongest Kure currently. Jack needs modifications and enhancements to keep up with the top tiers in Baki but raian is from a bloodline of warriors. He doesn’t even use his family techniques because of how OP they are and prefers to just overwhelm his opponents
I knew there was going to be 1 win for both sides and either a real win or draw for Baki vs ashura. Once I saw hanayama (idk how to spell their names in Japanese well) win his fight I automatically knew Jack is going to lose him. And that fight was bullshit

Again I think people forget the when it comes to crossovers of two series, they have to downgrade the characters a bit so that they can how both characters from respective series since in their own light. If you just see Jack or Baki completely demolish the Kengan Characters then this whole fight would’ve been like two seconds. So just appreciate it for what it is.
