I’m in ✨ CHOIR ✨ however I hate singing for my family
I was in concert choir at school and church, and STILL my mother would always tell me I had no talent when I'd sing around the house. So, be glad your mother WANTS you to sing!❤❤❤
I'm in a Harmonix choir (male choir) at my school and I have a dress rehearsal and my concert got moved to Monday it was supposed to be on Tuesday but got moved last minute 😭😭😭

Honestly, you have a killer voice. It's tight, strong and clean. And you can hit the right pitch. You could go get singing lessons for a better technique (stomach support and vibrato control) and have a career.

I swear. I had to go see my aunties, uncles cousins, etc. Then most of my cousins sang, and my mum was like" YOU SHOULD SING TOO!!!" Luckily using my stalling skills I made her forget about it.
Extreme social anxiety performing in front of strangers/family person. My Asian side of the family dragged us to some getaway for a few days when I was about 13. They signed me up for karaoke on a stage without my consent. I found out at dinner and went and hid in the hotel room with my mom. They got so mad at me that I 'embarrassed them' when the people kept calling my name and I didn't show up.
OMG TOO TRUE MY MUM IS LIKE "sing sing" and i say NOO and then, one time she sneaked up on me and catched my singing, and she was like "AH GIRL WHY U SING NOW NOT WITH YOUR AUNTIE LAH"
