I remember going there as a kid in the mid to late 80s and being a fan of Stevie Bottcher in the 97 higbee brother car. Me and my brother got to sit in his car after the races. We came up too more and more races and bought the tshirts and pictures of Stevie Bottcher and got his autograph.
I remember going in 1985 to Middletown August i believe and yes Brett Hearn won got his autograph on the night's program and still to this day 34 yrs later i still have it not a Hearn fan but i was 18 and didn't know any better
Very cool, Those are my families 8mm home movies in this episode, They are my most prized possessions from my grandfather, I put them on RUclips over the winter because i wanted to share them with everyone. Pretty awesome they were used in something like this!
Let me say this, I have been a fan of Brent the jet Hearn since I first saw his profile in a racing magazine my late day got from the New York State area. I believe it was the late 70's early 80's time frame. Needless to say I have followed Brent's career the best I could for a long time. Due to the fact I am from Oklahoma, and we didn't always get to see what was going on back east with dirt car racing
Man my Mom used to Love Brett Hearn still loves him today infact really it was Dale Jarrett in Nascar and every Saturday at the speedway it was Brett Hearn
one memorable moment was when a 305 sprint car hit the inside jersey barrier, shot across the track , went up & thru the signs and landed on wisner avenue ... crazy
@@kubefa65 Another i remember was the 31 street stock (Its Blue and yellow now) was schemed as Ryan Newmans CAT car and he hit the wall, got the wind knocked out and flatfooted the gas pedal.
