🤩This skirt is exactly what I've been looking for! My style has been 70s inspired for past 2 years. Love it!

Made my first A Line skirt at school around 1975. Mine was lined wool.

I prefer your more flared silhouette, especially for my hips and because it's more 70;s nostalgic to me. How would one add/remove flare from this pattern?

You would use the slash and spread method at the point where you want to add or remove flare!

Is the mini fitted enough that I would grade between sizes if my waist is 2 sizes larger than my hip? Or do you just make the size for the waist and have a bigger skirt flare than might have been intended? Such a tempting pattern!

I'd love to know how to make the more flared one also please.

Hmmmmm. Interesting design. Just looking at the design I wonder how hackable it might be to insert a open end zipper upside down t to close at the top of the slit and reverse the waistband to open at the front? Insert wide elastic at the back of waistband???? I remember such a rtw skirt bought for one of my teenagers in the late 90's, that I always wanted to copy. It was a knit though.
