This is one of the best live performances ever. My kids who are now just 5 and 6 would be singing along to it at 3 and 4.
It's a competition between Diyo Dayo....(My son was in a nappy when he grooved past my bedroom (I was so proud)) but having toddlers singing "Brave Lil Fighter" is an amazing thing...also this music is played at the exact opposite end of the planet...Lake Pedder in Tasmania...is the go to music between sets I would play there....
JJ Grey is a genuine heretofore unknown gem. Many do know him but he could/should easily be a household name.
I love JJ Grey & Mofro!! I've not heard one song that I didn't like by them!! I saw them at The Shed in Maryville TN. I've been to a lot of concerts but I have to say JJ Grey & Mofro is the very best!! I've never felt so uplifting in my life.

I just found JJ Grey a couple years ago & so glad I did. What a soulful voice. Swamp Rock Funkin Blues as I believe Selwyn Birchwood coined it.

Fits every demographic....nobody knows what it is because I'm on the other end of the world and am so happy Pandora (when it was still around) introduced me to Lullaby while driving down the highway at 3am after a gig, cranked it up, no cars around, beautiful night, and couldn't believe what I was listening to, then it went from there...and the new album is just sensational

I follow music fairly closely and just heard of him about 8 months ago. My GOD! Where have they been most of my life?! He will be here in St. Paul, MN in March '24. You better believe I'll be there!

I was on spotify and my list ran out so random songs played. This guy/group came up 4x. I kept replaying their songs and saying wth is this? Finally I looked them up and WOW. Sad to say I have never of them/him.
