  • There are many reasons why proponents of Pan-Africanism believe greater unity among African nations would be beneficial. Here are some of the key arguments:
    • Economic Strength: A united Africa could have a much stronger voice in international trade negotiations and economic partnerships. This could lead to fairer trade deals, increased investment, and more opportunities for African businesses to thrive.
    • Political Power: A united Africa would have a more powerful voice on the world stage. This could allow African nations to better defend their interests and promote peace and security on the continent.
    • Security: Cooperation on security issues could help to address regional conflicts and transnational threats like terrorism. A united Africa could have a stronger military presence to deter aggression and maintain stability.
    • Overcoming Colonial Legacy: Artificial borders drawn during colonial times often divided ethnic groups and set the stage for future conflicts. Greater unity could transcend these divisions and promote a more unified African identity.
    • Resource Management: Africa has vast natural resources, but these can be exploited by foreign powers if the continent remains divided. A united Africa could better manage its resources for the benefit of all Africans.

It is good for Africans to honor, pay homage and recognize the founders who fought for our emancipation. The successive rulers have given back to the colonialists most of our INDEPENDENCE. Most African countries have more debt than at anytime in their history with very little to show for these humongous debts. Something ought to change ELSE, the youth will fill the Mediterrenean and other seas with their DEAD BODIES.
