Don they compare with the EVS TP199?
I haven't personally tried the EVS TP199 so I can't really say.

Different idea, but I've always wondered why MX boots don't come up higher and have knee protection. Being part of the boot would keep them in place.
I think it would be difficult with all the different sizes that are available.
