- If I had a nickel for every time a video game made the final fight with your adversary into a Punch-Out reference, I'd have three nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened three times.

Since it's chapter 2, the bosses are harder compared to chapter 1. Although the secret super-boss this time is much easier compared to Jevil.
Also, 7 chapters? Let's hope the development of this game gets faster, cause I don't want to wait 15 years before I can see how it ends.

Fun fact: the Rouxls fight gets 1000x easier if you made your thrashing machine in chapter 1 a duck. The attacks will all be duck related and will all do 1 damage
And that 1 duck shot is very very slow, so you can graze it for multiple time for maximum TP bar.

@@art-cs6us nope the queen fighters completely unaltered difficulty wise, with the exception of the duck punch being useless but you can still win the battle with relative ease
Oh wow, in my playtrough he had the duck because I did it on my old save for the meme, didn't think that fight would be different

I actually really love how when Spamton says "press f1 for help" if you press f1 during your next turn you'll actually get healed

The queen is just a living meme. All of her words are capital, and she speaks with no periods. Its beautiful, and her voice is so annoying which makes it even better. This is my favorite villain

If you notice, Spamton continuously talks about being “big.” Big enough to see heaven, big enough to see past the darkness. This may man that Spamton wants one of tow things:
1: He wants to release the Titans and end the world.
2: He himself wants to be a Titan, or have power like one.
That second one seems to fit a bit more
I was thinking that Spamton wanted to escape the dark world, but I didn't even consider that method.

He also had shown that he wants to be free, to break the strings that hold him back, to stop being a puppet. Everything's "tied" together I guess.
That ending though... I was like "Please don't stab goatmom, please don't stab goatmom" and then "phew, he's just opening a portal to a hell dimension, what a relief"

That beginning..when Queen says were combining our weak points..she was right; Suzie's brutality and strength.. ralsei being walked over and Kris being controlled.

So, something different I noted: I spared everyone in the game EXCEPT Berdly.
After Queen's first form is beaten, however, he hurts himself when the wire is taken off. This damage is reflected on him in the Light World as well and Noelle has to care his books for him.

Also in the Snowgrave ending, Berdly won't wake up in the light world with the others. It probably implies he's either dead or in a coma due to being frozen.

Regarding the next chapters, Toby said that him and the team will use chapter 2 as a sort of “base” for making the others more efficiently, so mmmaybe we are not going to wait 15 years after all.
Also i personally find Spamton NEO to be a bit harder than Jevil to me, but that might be just because of some of his attacks or poor strategy on my part, or that I practised the first superboss for so much it’s a bit of an unfair comparison.
I think that's because while Jevil's attacks are more orderly and follow a pattern, Spamton NEO is as the name implies "spam" attacks.
Attackwise Spamtron NEO is a tougher fight but it's easier to manage due to being able to multitask the party better, unlike Jevil that is a slightly easier fight but it goes downhill if you start getting hit since you require everyone active, and specially Kris above all else.

It's definitely a nice change that now every party member can make their own individual ACTs, allows for a bit more strategy overall.
I certainly hope it gets faster development wise

I didn't die once in chapter 1 nor 2. 0 practice, I managed to not hit some bosses too so i dont think its that hard.

Fun Fact about that Roule Fight: Based on what part you gave to the Thrash Machine, the Moveset will differ based on that certain part.So you can imagine how easy it would be if you were to the entire Duck Set, considering it’s the weakest set.
And for something Spoilers wise:
You know, Spamton Neo was rather easy than Jevil for a pacifist route, now that you can use ACT separately this time.
…Then came the Alternative Genocide Route.
the moveset also changes during punchout, in which case the duck's special punches literally suck

Spoilers Ahead!
If you commit to the "Noelle Genocide/Alternate Route," where you get her to freeze everyone (Including Berdley), Queen is no longer the final boss. Instead, it's Spamton NEO who stops Kris, alone, at the door back to the Light World. Kris must call for his friends Susie, Ralsei, and Noelle, to defeat him and return home.

I didn't even know there was an alternative route. The fight is almost identical to the normal route, so I probably wouldn't have included it anyway. I can make another video about it, but idk if it's worth it.

@@alperenakdas3479 its much harder because you don't have free damage opportunities from your teammates, you must waste your turn to heal, all damage is focused on you, and some of its attacks have more bullets. MUCH harder.

No, she's drinking battery acid. She also mentions that it's how she produces energy. Battery acid and the psychoactive drug that people call "acid" are two very different things.

One way to cheese Sweet Cap'n Cakes: Dance with just Kris, and attack with Susie and Ralsei. The band members will waste a turn healing but you will still progress the battle (also useful if you're trying to speedrun the game, since the healing is way faster than their attacks).

30:38 the first time I saw this scene I was creeped out a lot, especially because before restarting it I did the fight by attacking him, so, after the strings were cut and spamton neo was defeated, the dialogue with spamton remained the same as before, as if he forgot what happened during the fight, like it wasn't supposed to happen at all

I like how chapter two shows both Susie and Ralsei in new sprites thanks to the events of the first chapter. It just feels right in my opinion.

Apparently chapters 3-5 will be released at the same time. Dunno when but tho but toby fox indicated it has to be purchased. Chapter 2 is only free because of covid issues and everyone having a rough year

the mechanics sure feel a lot more organic then in the first game and all the bosses and characters are actually really distinct with a little bit of nightmare fuel thrown into the mix

Against Queen & Berdly, you can Instead “Attack” her shield, that way it goes down Faster, and “Proceed” to Freeing berdly, im sure it’ll still be a Pure Pacifist Route where berdly’s Arm isn’t injured. I haven’t tried this yet cause i don’t have a PC (ಥ_ಥ), but i wanna know if someone has tried it, trying to make the Queen drink her Acid thingy takes longer.
As a massive fan of Punch-Out, I'm so happy Deltarune had the format as the final boss.

In Queen's fight, if you attack her shield instead of using Toasts, you can actually destroy it faster with powerful enough attacks.
If you get Devilsknife and PuppetScarf, you can even destroy the big ones in one turn

It’s also great to see a nicer Susie since Chapter 1, heck even getting a influence by Toriel’s puns. She’s not insulting Kris as a way to be mean either. Amazing character development over a day (In the game.)
Berdly is also another thing. He has his possible injuries which make you feel bad for him, instead of him being that one nerdy and a bit annoying classmate.
