I typically announce other people that are close by for other mountain bikers because we're typically faster and like our speed. For hikers, I typically announce only those in my group. Great video, one of my all-time favorite trails for MtB, especially for fall riding.
Great video! Thank you for being informative regarding the trail register and your experience with search and rescue. Good to know. What Pivot bike are you riding here?
i've never ridden it on a rigid bike but the first time I did it was on a hard tail with 80mm of travel ( if that ). I bet if you are used to riding that bike this would be fun.
That wasn't a ride, it was a Pivot parade! I love those bikes! As for announcing members in our group, we always do. Better to be safe than risk hitting/hurting a hiker.
I definitely call out riders not in my party if I think they are close enough and/or if I just came off a descent. Thanks for posting. Coming to CO in May so been binging on your videos!
My buddy lives in Berthoud so will definitely hit Hall Ranch etc but slowly building a list. Would love to hit Lil Scraggy/Magic bus and golden gate full pull if open. Am open to suggestions for sure!
Calling out riders for hikers isn't a thing we really have to worry about here. Trail runners are more prevalent at one trail but for the most part hikers and bikers use different trails.
I'm afraid the trail looks like a brown sidewalk due to RUclips compression, even at 1080p on a fast connection. It's a beautiful setting and nice stabilization. I wonder if submitting an upscaled video would get around this a bit, as this guy seems to think ruclips.net/video/jbv1fREMRu0/видео.html

Can't believe no one is on the trail with you. Every time I ride it the trail is packed
+2dogsbiking had to take a vacation day and ride it on a Tuesday. Still saw more people than I would like.
You must have JUST beat the snow! Much of this high alpine stuff is done for the season now :/ Thanks for sharing!!
+Sean Hanson yep, just slipped this trip in under the wire this year

+Colorado Biking LOL trying to keep it that way.
Jason Bikes mountain biking will do it!
Great video! I rode KP GP 7 years ago. Took me 5 hrs up, 3 down. 😣
We went up it in two and a half hours and down in one
This is one of my favorite rides, but it’s been crazy busy lately. I guess everyone is trying to check out the leaves.
+James Yea this was a Tuesday and I still found plenty of people. Should start to taper soon I think.
What Camera/Gimbal set-up are you using? Looks awesome!
+Dill1718 the gear is all listed / linked in the description, working on a gear check video.
is this one way up and down? I want to take a road trip and do this trail but always wondered how would I get back to my car.
I recommend going up Georgia Pass and then down Jefferson Creek, makes for a great day. MTB project has the route: www.mtbproject.com/trail/65904

+Brian Vaughn interesting, most trails here in Colorado have been around longer than mountain biking and are used by everyone.

Would you like to do a collab with me on another section of the ct?
I sometimes announce other riders
