so rotating basically means that we kinda change it time to time in order to keep it organized

Very clear
explanation and a good starting point for logrotation. It would be awesome with
some running example, e.g. where you demonstrate how to specify a max log size
and then shows that logs are rotated when reaching this max size. Just a suggestion.
