Loved this!. For someone who has been skippig around tutorial way more than they should, I love how you explinaed each group. The info sunk in even deeper as I recreated what I saw on the screen. Thanks!
Thanks Rob, I'm glad you enjoyed the series. I'm hoping to launch a more concise course for Dynamo in Revit 2020 at a later date this year as well - this series hasn't aged well in some areas unfortunately as Dynamo has improved a lot since I made these videos.
Well keep it up. I have come to find there are alot of people who say they know Dynamo but don't or truly understand it. They can stumble through it or able to reverse engineer but couldn't create anything from scratch or answer a question. This is like basic training that I believe starts you on the right foot that is easy to understand. While I am on standby from work till the pandemic eases, I am making good use of my time off and making myself more employable as much as I can. Take care.
@@RedMcc Thanks, I know what you mean! I found the same challenges when I learnt - people were too focused on wacky forms and fibonnaci spirals when really I just wanted to find practical, everyday examples that I could apply to Dynamo/Revit. This large-in-part inspired me to begin this channel, as I saw the void in education that existed at the time. Keep up the downtime learning, and I wish you all the best when everything goes back to normal.
Thanks! I actually just released an updated course on my platform if it is of interest. It's paid, but more thorough and I was a bit less experienced when I made this series. No pressure, just letting you know in case it helps :) courses.bimguru.education/courses/course-dynamo-4revit
@@AussieBIMGuru Thank you! I will check it. I wonder if you will make any new courses. I will be very interested in a project-oriented course for Revit.
@@Moatasem155 probably not for Revit, there is a lot of content out there for it already. I will likely make one for rhino inside or dynamo python next when time allows.
Not silly at all! Shift+select a bunch of nodes, right click and Create group. You can name this group, as well as move it around, and if you right click it, there will be some colour options! I actually have a tutorial on node colouring next Friday so very relevant question!
I generally upload most of my scripts to github although some earlier videos wont be there as I lost some files to corruption incidents before using github: github.com/aussieBIMguru
No worries, I don't have every part as a script unfortunately, but those that I do I've uploaded to Google Drive here; drive.google.com/drive/folders/11j7RtLGnWD9vRWqph2VOYiagihr86pTa?usp=sharing
Some are on my github but most were lost from this series unfortunately. I have a much more recent series over on my platform here: courses.bimguru.education/
I can be reached via aussiebimguru@gmail.com. I can usually answer simple queries but have limited time for detailed issues - in those cases I suggest using the dynamo forums.

@@AussieBIMGuru Hi Gavin, I have a question. Does the paid course include real examples that work with Revit Geometry?
@@Moatasem155 it includes a couple, but they aren't overly complex. The curriculum summarizes the lessons and chapters on the course page.

Hello Aussie Guru, maybe this is silly question but how did you make this blue background with text behind you notes

I could not understand about too much how the % works in Basic Operations
This will generally return the remainder if you divide a number by another.
So for examle 11 % 5 = 1
i have some doubts can i reach u mails or in whasapp. it seems like you are a good teacher . if u can do some help it will be appreciative
