- With classic car prices going ski high, its time to move on to the next big thing.
The S-10 square body has been overlooked for years and now is its time to shine!

The problems your having when coming up to a stop sign and it chugging and stalling does sound like the fuel filter being clogged why is probably why it's running so well since the fuel filter replacment if it was clogged enough it wouldn't flow fuel to engine 1:04:30 nice work Chuck @Street Rat Garage
Man that bed came out super clean after the pressure washing Very awesome 39:56 @Street Rat Garage

Good content brother keep it up. Love the S10 .Still have mine ,got it new in 99.Great little truck
Right on!
I'd like to get one. I worked on plenty customer S10. Super simple , body panels are cheap, even the bedsides just bolt together. I practically built 1 with 3/4 after market panels for a customer. He was so attached to the Truck, even though it was totaled.
Close call ! I love s-10's My father used to buy all the used meter read trucks from a local utility company. He would then re furbish them and sell. The best part was the natural gas they ran on. The engines where always mint.
Fuel pumps are always a gamble on old efi vehicles. I remember my brothers 89 honda just quit when we were leaving a resturant.
you should have a "Street Rat Garage bike" and old ten speed or an old mountain bike that you can toss in the back seat or trunk and use to get back instead of walking? lol peace.
just sold my 88 s-10 to a good buddy of mine. Had the the iron duke with a 5 speed. Shes still running like a champ, he uses it as a daily. FYI the sensor for the coolant temp is a one wire sensor on the side of the driver side head i believe all of the 80's GM vehicles with the exception of Tuned port motors and the multi port motors use that type of sensor.
Right on, I’ll check it out.
What a great idea for all the old sockets we have had rolling around for 50 years. 👍outstanding.
5 year old ethanol fuel not much good most methanol fuel is bad within a month 20:45
Your audio is all over the place, but mostly too low.
Check the ignition control module
I have a tow bar just like that one.
Turned out pretty good 👍 other things you can do to maybe make it run better is clean the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve and make sure the TV (Throttle Valve) cable is properly adjusted for the transmission so that don't burn up 👍
2 thumbs up on the S10!!!
I've owned a bunch of S-10s, still have an 88, some of the funnest have been 2wd 4.3 auto. A tire burners dream!
I think you should put a tailgate on it at least it will keep your stuff from falling out!
I actually did put one on. It was on the truck when I took it out for the last test drive, I just forgot to mention it or show it! Lol.
Get those snow tires off lol
My favorite truck! Had many. I'm looking for another 4 cly 5 speed short bed! Wink wink lol
I have seen a few. I will keep my eye out.
just sold that exact truck to a buddy of mine a few months ago. it was an 88, he uses it as a daily.
Where do you get paint matched rattle cans in Indy. I need some too!
Autozone has them
