That quick transition at 0:58 for Spurs first goal and at 6:22 (Timo Werner's miss) reminds me of how City need a player with pace like Kyle Walker in moments like these. Rico Lewis is better with the ball but Walker (when in form) is better defensively because of his pace and physicality. Walker would have been able to cover that ground and most likely prevent Werner from scoring that 1st goal. City really need to think about getting a RB with pace and physical presence. Walker is aging and as much as Rico Lewis can play that RB role, we have seen time and time again how quick transitions from the opposition gets City caught out. Rico does not have the speed to match and stop those quick counters like Walker does.
City is struggling Not because of injuries.. it's because players like Foden, Gundogan and Bernardo are NOT PERFORMING and NOT HELPING THE TEAM.. that's why the other players are forced to do EXTRA WORK until they got injured
Gundogan has not been performing ever since we resigned him. He is finished, washed and should completely be dumped off to Saudi. Watch all our games and there has not been one game he played well for us ever since he came back, be it on the starting XI or from the bench.
@FNshinobi none of GUNDOGAN, FODEN and BERNARDO showed their level this season.. Gundogan retired from national team, and Foden started like only 3 games and been substituted later so he didn't play much to feel "tired" and "under pressure"
@johngoh486 he's busy cheering for barça and El Classico, not helping City.. he's playing against City actually, passing to the opponents, losing balls, walking on the pitch, not defending, not assisting Haaland, not using his body and pace to recover the ball
